When Chemistry Meets Love

"Okay, guys. Hop in.. I'm sorry I'm late." Jerry said as he parked his car next to Ava, Liam and Cillian who had their bags in their hands as though they were going on a school trip.

Oh, how could I forget? This was a trip, but it just wasn't a school one.

"Oh, someone smells waxed all over." Cillian whispered next to Ava's ear with an ecstatic thrill as she advanced towards Jerry's spacebus.

"Oh, my God! I didn't mean to do it that much. Is it that obvious?" Ava asked with noticeable shock that felt like spiking fear charts as she looked intensely at Cillian.

"No, love. It's just perfect. I didn't even notice it, I was just messing with you. Go get him, girl." Cillian replied with a mildly sinister chuckle escaping the mid rows of his mouth.

God knows Ava wanted to screech out so loud enough that it pierced the fabrics of his skin, but she laughed right back and held back on that urge.

That urge wasn't half as hard for Ava to resist. Maybe the one the weekend had in store in the body of a certain Liam would be a harder one to resist.

They all smiled as they made themselves comfortable for the long ride which was about 2 hours away.

Ava sat next to Liam's left at the mid- rear couch and Elon took the father backseat where he stayed alone with his head buried within his legs.

Jerry didn't look like it, but he had a great taste in music as he blasted through a Spotify mix headlined by Ava Max, Alan Walker and Rihanna while singing along. The others knew that he was "cool" but they hadn't expected that he'd pull this level off.

"Melinda is one lucky woman, boss." Cillian said to Jerry who was by the wheels and right beside him.

"Most days, I really am the lucky one. She's amazing and I'm not even half of all that." Jerry replied with a sentimental blush rising in his cheeks like a steady love erection.

Love really is adorable. If only half the teenagers alive knew that, we'd use less condoms as a species.

Liam had been silently basking in happiness and the many endless possibilities that the weekend with Ava had for him,but he hadn't been obvious about it.

"What do I say to him? He smells like a million bucks. How enchanting!" Ava thought to herself in what felt like a dirty fantasy she didn't want anyone but herself to know.

"Would she be okay with talking during the trip?" Liam thought to himself as he exchanged blows in an intense bout with a calvary of doubt and what ifs.

"... it was better to know the worst than to wonder." Ava, with her eyes fixed on the book she was reading on her phone, said in a low voice that Liam heard.

Liam has heard that line before. It was a memorable one, and this curiousity stirred up enough confidence in him to say something to Ava.

"Margaret Mitchell?" Liam asked intently as he looked at her face with a quiet surprise.

"Yeah. How'd you figure that out?" Ava replied with even more curiosity than Liam earlier expressed.

"It's one of my favourite books… I and the book have history." Liam replied with confidence that was endearing.

"Perhaps- I want the old days back again…" Ava uttered a line from Margaret's 'Gone with the Wind' from her memory expecting Liam to not know the end of it.

"...and they'll never come back." Liam continued as his eyes glittered in awe of Ava and his newly found bond.

"...and I'm haunted by the memory of them and of the world falling about my ears." They both said together before bursting into an irritatingly perfect chuckle that synchronised so much that it had Cillian wagging his eyes to peep at them from the mirror in his front.

"We must sound like freaks right now!!" Liam said in the midst of the declining laughter that their lips and comely eyes exchanged.

"The good kind of freaks, yeah. I didn't take you for a fan. I'm surprised, and I mean that in a good way." Ava said with a warm blush that could be sensed by anyone who had two balls in their sockets.

"I never would have taken you for a fan, too." Liam replied with a smile sliding from the pages of his lips.

At this moment, Ava was in her head. She'd been enthralled the more about their chemistry, and her fantasies were rising within every bit of her sensory wiring.

"Ava?" Liam asked again, wondering what she must have been thinking.

"Oh, yeah. That's right. I'd pick a paperback copy over any online one, too." Ava replied when she finally gained control of her mind following Liam's numerous words.

If her thoughts could come alive right now, Liam would have been naked and she devouring every bit of him she'd considered edible- all of him.

Aren't lovers all just horny people who desire a lot more than their partner's bodies?
