Lesson One

News about the assassination of vice mayor Carman spread throughout England. From the police report, they recorded a total of 16 dead bodies including Carman's all murdered by The Ghost.

Despite the large massacre the detectives couldn't find a single trace left by Jin or Draven at the scene. The conclusion by the police detectives was:

"There's nothing we can do if The Ghost was involved. This investigation is just beyond the Stanford police department. Will let ACSES deal with this."

The acronym ACSES stood for Anti Criminal Syndicate Espionage Service.

ACSES was a national service that create solely for the eradication criminal syndicates and organizations.

ASCES comprised of highly skilled individuals who were called Agents. These Agents were considered to be elites who were strong enough to even take down skilled assassins.

But even for ACSES dealing with cases involving The Ghost always proved to be a challenge. The Ghost was simply in a league of his own.

...

Jin and Draven left on a flight to South Korea from Stanford city airport the following day and after long hours on a plane they finally landed at Seoul airport.

They made their way through the airport checkpoints with any problems and proceeded to the airport's car park.

In the car park, one of Jin's cars was parked there. They entered the car and left the airport.

As Jin drove Draven decide to ask:

"Hey Jin, is your nationality English or Korean? i know you've lived in England for a longtime even before I was born but you have Korean name, why's that?

"Good question. And the answer is am both.... Actually I have over 8 nationalities, mostly because of my duties as The Ghost." Jin answered as he drove.

"Oh.... I see."

...

Within Seoul city Jin stopped at a certain upstair house. The house had fence built around it with a gate. Jin pulled over at the gate, then he pressed a button on his stirring wheel which open the gate.

"Who lives here?" Draven asked.

"I do. This is my main house in Korea. I stay here whenever am in the country." Jin answered as he drove inside the yard.

"It's quite big. How is a mayor's assistant supposed to afford such a nice house?" Draven asked as he looked around the yard through the car window.

"Kid I think you should know by now that my job as mayor's assistant is just a cover up. Master Syven pays me quite a lot of money for my Ghost services." Jin answered as parked the car.

"How much do you get paid?" Asked Draven

"Become The Ghost and find out" Jin smirked as he got out of the car.

The two got out of the car and made their way to the front door, where Jin pulled out his key and open it.

When Draven entered the house, he was amazed at house extravagant it was:

"It's even nicer from the inside. Wait there's nobody inside? Don't you have maids or even butlers?"

"Don't need them. I don't even live here most of the time so paying house staff to take of this place would be a waste." Jin turned on the lights as he replied.

Draven walked around the house checking the place out. He made his way upstairs to the bedrooms and found 4 bedrooms each with its own bathroom.

"The door on the left will be your room" Jin said as he came up the stairs.

Draven open the door on the left. As he entered, Draven was surprised. The room was very spacious and had a large bed in it. The room was equipped with a computer, bookshelves filled with all sorts of books and a large window on the side.

"Jin isn't this your room? I must have opened the wrong door" Draven wondered.

"Nope this your room kid. Let's get one thing straight. I am not master Syven who treated you poorly just to kill your emotions. I have my own methods and they don't include treating small children poorly. You got that?" Jin ranted.

Draven's eyes started to tear up. Aside from Albert, Jin was the only other person to show such consideration towards him.

"Th-thanks Jin" Draven wiped his eyes as he replied.

"Nope problem. Now don't get too relaxed I still have to mold you into a perfect successor of The Ghost. So brace yourself for harsh training kid"

"Bring it on Jin" Draven grinned.

....

Later that evening, Jin called Draven out to the backyard. The moon was already out, shining a dim blue light on them.

"Alright I'll now officially begin your lessons"

Draven attentively starred at Jin. Curious about will be his first lesson as the successor.

"Before I get started, lemme give you one simple rule. Which is...Always keep your Kinshara Blade with you at all times. The blade is only 45cm so it shouldn't be hard to carry around. Just remember to conceal it. Understood?"

"Yeah got it" Draven replied.

"Alright then. Firstly I'll tell you the 3 main core principles of assassin craft. Which are...Presence erasing, Sounds movements and the most difficult one to grasp even for skilled assassins.... Malice detection." Jin explained. He continued:

"Your body isn't ready yet for the first two principles so I'll teach you Malice detection first. Malice detection is an elite level skill that let's you sense or detect kill intent and evil intentions towards you which are emitted by any person within your range."

Jin added:

"Your range will expand the more your body develops so teaching it to you while you're still a kid is an advantage to you."

"How do I develop that skill then?" Draven asked

"Normally the more you engage in life threatening situations your body naturally develops a tiny fraction of Malice detection. But that takes a very long time to grow, that's why I will use a different method. I'll force your Malice detection skill to awaken." Jin explain.

"Force it? How exactly?" Draven wondered.

Jin sternly looked at Draven:

"By exposing you to immense killing intent at once. Now prepare yourself..."

Jin closed his eyes and was silent. He opened his eyes suddenly there was an intense gloomy pressure that emitted from him. The air surrounding them became dense.

Draven fell to his knees as he started breathing heavily.

"Haaah.....haaaah.....haaah..... wh-What is this pressure?!" Draven as he panted heavily.

Jin looked straight at Draven with dead cold eyes:

"This is my Kill Intent...."
