Hawkmoth x Reader

(A/n)- This will take place when Hawkmoth was a teenager.

Gabriel scanned the city of Paris from his secret room. He admired its glory. He loved to see everyone so happy.

A knock interrupted his peace and quiet. "Yes?", he called. The door opened to reveal a (S/c) skinned, (E/c) eyed girl.

"(Y/n)! Want to see what I've been working on?"

You nodded your head and walked over to him. He opened up a box, inside was a little ballerina. A tune started playing.

"Oh my gosh! It's my mom's lullaby to me!", you yelled. Gabriel smiled at your reaction. "I thought you would love it."

You hugged him and said, "It's awesome, Gabriel." You touched the figurine spinning slowly, sparkles filling your eyes. He brushed your hand away from it and closed the box.

"It's to not finished yet. I should be done with it by tomorrow."

You whined and made a pouty face. "But I want it now!", you dramatically announced. You removed your arms from his torso and placed your chin on his shoulder.

"Don't worry, (Y/n). You can have it when it's finished.", he said. Gabriel walked past you, smirking. You ran past him to the door and waited for him.

"I just wanted to come by and say hi. Hi. Ok, bye!"

With that, you took off running down the hallway. You laughed as you imagine Gabriel's face. You ran out the gate, slowing your pace to a moderate walk.

The crosswalk was open. You stepped out into the street, humming the tune you just heard. Screeching tires broke you from your phase.

"Huh?!"

You turned your head to see a car coming straight at you. You tried to hurry out of the way. It was too late.

An hour later, sirens blared through the air. Gabriel was by your side, trying to keep you alive. You groaned in pain as your vision became more fuzzy.

You eventually passed out.

Monitors beeped to check your vitals. An oxygen machine breathed for you. Your eyes were shut.

Gabriel sat there, weeping. "(Y/n)...please be ok. Please be ok. Please be ok.", he mumbled to himself. You were all he ever cared about.

Gabriel thought of something. He summoned one of his bright white butterflies. Its wings flapped back and forth, awaiting instructions.

"Fly into my miraculous. Allow me to seek vengeance for (Y/n)..."

The butterfly did as told. It flew into Gabriel's pendant, mutating him into a different person. His eyes scanned his suit.

He ran his hand through your hair one last time. He left the hospital and went to his secret room. he thought.

A happy couple passed. Gabriel, now known as Hawkmoth, glared at them.

Hawkmoth summoned one of his butterflies. "Fly away, my little akuma. And evilize them.", he growled. The butterfly flew out of the room, flapping its way to the couple.

The butterfly was an odd electric purple. The couple eyed it suspiciously. The butterfly flew to the woman's necklace, taking shelter in the locket.

A purple substance coated over the woman. Her boyfriend ran away, scared for his life. The woman no longer stood there.

In her place was a dreaded, black and white woman, glitching like t.v. static. Hawkmoth smirked at his work. A purple mask appeared over both of their faces.

"Dark Mistress, I am Hawkmoth. I'm giving you the power to put people in their place in exchange for Ladybug and Cat Noir's miraculous.", Hawkmoth informed. The woman gritted her teeth and nodded her head. "Yes, Hawkmoth."

Hawkmoth watched from his haven as the woman ran off. He couldn't afford for the superheroes to get him, so he needed their miraculous. "Nothing can stop me.", he growled.

Days passed. The woman was defeated and Gabriel was frustrated. He decided he would visit you.

In your room, the monitor beeped slowly. Gabriel sighed. "(Y/n), I'm back...Did you miss me?"

He knelt down by your bed, grasping your hand in his. He lightly kissed it and then looked at your face. "I won't stop until I find them. Maybe then you'll be set free from this misery."

Gabriel cupped your face and pressed his lips against your forehead. "I love you, (Y/n). Forever and always." He pulled back and sat in the seat next to your bed.

He stayed there waiting.

(A/n)-I think this is a good cliffhanger. Comment what I should put in a part 2 of this! Thanks for reading! Bye for now!
