Luka x Gothic! Emotionless! Reader

(A/n)- This was requested by . Go check them out! And I know some or most of us don't know Madam Bustier's first name, but it's Caline. I just didn't want y'all getting confused when I put that name in. Thanks for reading!

"You are the light of my world."

You sat in class picking at your sleeve. You were so bored you weren't even paying attention anymore. You were so ready to ditch class.

But fortunately for you, the bell rang. You gathered your things and rushed past everyone to the door. You made a b-line for the exit and felt the warm summer sun tickle your body.

Then you heard someone call after you. Turning around, you came to meet a pair of blue orbs and that same concerned voice of Caline. "(Y/n)!"

She appraoched you and smiled. You rolled your eyes to the left and sighed. "Yes?"

She held up a paper in front of you and explained. "I found this in the hall and I just knew you'd like it. Please, I'm begging you, please go to this concert. I want you to have fun," she said with desperation in her eyes. You pushed the paper away and shook your head.

"No, thanks. I'd rather not." You started walking off until she shoved the paper into your hand. "At least think about it," she said as you looked back at her. She gave you another smile and walked away.

You looked at the paper again and saw how happy the crowd was. , you thought. You shoved it into your bag and continued on your way.

You almost felt guilty in a way. Caline was always trying to help you. And you turned down every suggestion she made.

In a way she was like your mother. She cared for you. She put a roof over your head.

Yes, you lived with Madam Bustier. But only because everyone else abandoned you. And she found you on the streets freezing, hungry, and scared.

So you were thankful for her and only ever expressed your feelings to her. You could trust her and no one else. While you were wrapped up in your thoughts you bumped into someone.

You mumbled a quick apology and carried on. You felt someone staring at you but you didn't care. You just walked until you got home.

As you walked up the steps you could hear lots of chatter about the concert from last night. You pushed through largw crowds and entered the school. You went inside the classroom and sat next to Madam Bustier.

"Hey, (Y/n)," she said with her usual smile. You waved and sat in silence. Caline was filling something out when she had a sudden thought.

"Hey, I know you don't like new kids, but could you show this guy around while I grade papers?" You looked at her, no emotion displayed on your face. "Why?"

She bit her bottom lip and hesitated. "If you do, I'll excuse you from class for the rest of the day." And as soon as she said that you were up out of your seat and at the door.

"You can count on me, Mo- Caline!"

You ran out of the room and down the hall. You felt your cheeks slightly redden from what you nearly called her. Did she really act as a-

Your thoughts were cut short when you collided with a wall. A pretty...blue wall. "I'm sorry! I didn't see you there," the person held out their hand for you to take.

You rubbed your head and groaned. "Just- watch where you're going next time," you said annoyed. You looked up at the person and your eyes grew a little.

"Oh, it's you." He furrowed his brows in confusion at your remark. As he was about to question you you grabbed his arm and dragged him around the corner.

"Name?" "E-excuse me?" You stopped and turned to look at him.

"You got a name?" He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. You sighed and rolled your eyes.

"Fine then. Your name is Big Blue."

As you tried to start dragging him again he stopped. "W-where are you taking me?" You gave him a raised eyebrow.

"You're new, right? You need to find your classes? Well, here I am," you said taking a bow. The kid gave a small laugh.

"I don't see what's so funny," you claimed as you continued on. The kid shook his head and kept silent. You led him into Caline's room and sat by her desk casually.

"Well, I brought him. Can I go now?" The woman looked from you to the kid and sighed. "Yes, you can go. Just try to get some of the chores done when you get home."

You gave a two finger salute and patted the kid on the shoulder. "See ya, Big Blue." And with that you walked out of the room.

And when no one was looking, you ran for the exit.

But inside Madam Bustier patted the seat next to her. "Luka, right?" The kid smiled and gave a, "Yes, ma'am."

Madam Bustier ran a hand through her hair. "I know you're new, but I need your help," she said desperately. Luka listened closely.

"(Y/n), that girl you met earlier, she needs a friend. Nobody gives her a chance. I thought...since you were new..." She let her words trail off as she gazed down at the ground. Luka gave her a reassuring smile.

"You can count on me."

(Anyone? Anyone? Ok...)

"(Y/n), I want you to try to be friends with Luka," Caline said as y'all walked up the steps. You kept quiet and shoved your hands in your hoodie. She stopped and turned towards you.

She looked into your eyes pleadingly. You rolled your eues and scoffed. "Whatever..."

She sighed and continued on her way. When y'all walked inside the classroom you took a seat at your chair and pulled out a book. You read until the bell rang and kids started rushing in.

"Did you hear about the new kid?" "Oh, yeah! I hear he's super hot~" You started feeling uncomfortable by Chloe and Sabrina's conversation and decided to listen to some music.

But even the blearing music couldn't save you from the screams and shouts of those around you. Girls practically trampled over the steps and other students. You rolled your eyes and cranked the volume up a little more.

A few minutes passed and those girls were still at it! You were getting a headache. So you took an earbud out and yelled at them to shut up.

And they actually listened. You sighed in relief and went back to your music. Then you felt an extra weight onthe seat.

A light tap on your shoulder confirmed it. You turned to lock eyes with that blue haired kid. He gave you a smile and started to speak when you turned back around.

People started making snarky comments about you as they watched you turn away from him. "Does she know who he is?" "How dare she!"

You rolled your eyes and stuffed your phone in your pocket. As you stood up someone grabbed your hand. That same kid, Luka, if you remembered correctly, was silently pleading for you to stay.
