Chapter 11: Are you sure we havent met? I swore we had Chemistry

I watched intently as Chloe hung her arms around Adrien. It wasn't an uncommon thing, nor it was a normal thing. For the last 12 years of being here, I noticed a pattern.

Chloe only behaves like that if it's necessarily an important, for example, using er her finger to trace a weird unseen pattern on his chest or tangling her fingers in his golden banana hair. Anything other than that is just on Adrien's Behalf. Although it's been awhile since I've heard muffled screams or moans coming from the janitors closet, or him making out with any girl.

Apparently, most people have noticed this, and most people know about our overnight friendship. Thankfully they didn't know what happened but a overnight friendship. Alya thinks it has something to do with me, doubt it. I pulled my stare away from the two blondes and walk away.

Alya has been sick for the past day or so, something about Nino. So Nino, being the lovesick person he is with my best friend decided to take care of her, I didn't disagree. I just leaned against the dorm frame as the principal, Alya and Nino talk.

I started walking to my next class, there was a new teacher for English. Our old one had an important event in England so she left the country. I made my way to the door of the classroom, I placed my hand on the steel door, I inhaled and exhaled a few times before pushing it open. Everyone's attention went on me, I saw some slight dissatisfied or angry faces face me as I walked in.

The teacher stopped her lesson and gave me a warm smile, "My Name is Miss A, Please go take a seat, and we shall continue our lesson" she told me cheerfully. I returned the favour with a smile and made my way to the front where I would sit with Alya.

Miss A was a few inches taller than me, since I'm pretty tiny for a year 12 person. She had short brown hair that reminded of my old hair in grade 9, it was in a messy low bun, she had hazel eyes and looked very young. Her outfit was a black long sleeve dress with white collars, she looked stunning in that dress. I'd go gay for her but I don't swing that way.

To top it off she had a pearl necklace and black rimmed glasses, as said before she looked beautiful, it's weird how she's not a Mrs instead of a Ms. I didn't pay attention to that lesson but more to my thoughts, I saw Adrien in the halls today but I guess he probably ended up with Chloe in the closet.

I can just imagine how horrified the janitor would be if he saw that in the janitors closet. I shivered at the thought.

The class ended like the speed of light to me, when she said dismissed in her soft voice I shot straight up and walked out. Well I didn't go before saying afternoon to her, I'm not that rebellious. I could hear footsteps coming closer to me, I decided to pick up the pace.

After numerous twists and turns around the school I found the dorm Area, I immediately shoved my hand into my pocket and swung out the keys. Their voices were laced in anger from what I could tell, I made it into my room and shut the door, soon making the lock click signalling it was locked.

I stayed quiet for awhile, slumping against the door. The reason I'm doing this is because well I don't want to go to the infirmary again with a swollen cheek, or a swollen anything, and I don't have the time to deal with Adrien's Fangirls, I need to study.

There footsteps trailed off in different directions, making me sigh in relief and walking over to my desk, I sucked in a breath before letting it out, hoping it would get rid of the bits of dust. I pulled out my folder from my bag, opening it to look for what I need.

A few days ago, the teachers handed out a note, when exams are, time date all that stuff. The week of exams are in the second last week of November, it was currently the third week of October, a week away from Halloween. I flipped through the pages to find a half scrunched up piece of paper in the middle of my book, my eyes scan the piece of paper carefully.

Blobs, all I saw were tiny black blobs on my paper. I groaned annoyance, and looked over to see my reading glasses, the reason why I stopped using them was Chloe.

When I first started wearing them, I felt subconsciously worried about what people would think, my gut feeling was proven when Chloe found out. She called my horrible names, which now seem stupid to me. I wear my contacts when I'm in public but there in a pain in the butthole for me. My sight isn't that bad it just for very close things, if I squint hard enough I'm able to see what the word is.

My glasses were black at the front, and pink in the inside and on the sides. I took my hair out and turn the AC on, nice and quite. It wasn't nice until I found out how uncomfortable I am, I wiggle out of my clothes and put on grey shorts made out of a soft fabric and a hoodie. A ladybug hoodie, it was like Adrien's but instead of green it was red, and instead of the paw print it was a ladybug shell with 5 spots, four on the edges and one in the middle, it had a headband included, it was a black headband with two antennas.

Unlike Adrien, I wear mine on most days. It was a few sizes bigger than me but it was the only one available, I pull the sleeve of my hoodie and pick up my pencil. Taking notes and memorising them.

An hour flew by and I heard the door creak. "Where have you been?" I ask cooly, finishing up from studying. "Just out and about you know" he breathed. I turn to face him, his hair is all messed up, his face looks hot and sweaty along with tired. His shirt was clearly inside out, and the bruise on his neck was clearly noticeable.

I laugh, "Out And about with the luckiest girl in Paris?" I reply with an eyebrow up. He rolled his eyes and started changing, I turn back and close my book, relaxing on the wooden chair. "You look cute in glasses, I haven't seen you wear those things in years." He mumbled.

"The reason why haven't worn them is because of your soon to be fiancé" I chuckle sarcastically. He nods in reply and looks back at me, before pulling something out of his closet. "Why don't we match Bugaboo?" "Sure sure Alley cat."

He slipped into some sweat pants and into his Chat Noir hoodie, it surprises me it still fits him, after two years. Tiredly, I got up and put my English book back onto the self and got my chemistry text book out. I gently put it on my desk, sit myself down on the chair and open the book.

"Aw~ is the nerd studying?" He cooed, "Of course, we aren't all born into a famous company and turned into a model" I say before flipping to the next page. "Well duh, not everyone is as hot and sexy as I am, I thought you knew that Marinette" He shot back.

"And not everyone has a psychotic fan club that will kill every girl that comes near you"

"Well Nino and Ki-"

"That was a rhetorical question" I interrupt.

I could feel his eyes rolling back at me, causing mine to do the same. Silence fell between us, nothing but the clock slowly ticking away. I was finished reading and went on to the questions the teacher had assigned us.

After staring at the page with my pen doing all sorts of tricks on my hands, I groan and push myself away from my desk with my chair. Making a weird screech sound to break the silence, I lean my head back, to face an upside down image of Adrien.

He was sitting quietly with his reading glasses and a book open, legs crossed. Adrien noticed me and raised an eyebrow, before shutting the book and putting it on my bed table. "Yes Buginette?" He chuckled, I didn't respond in words, but I gave him a pleading look.

One that was screaming 'Help-I-need-you-to-help-me-pretty-please?'. His face morphed into a silly smirk, telling me he thinks this is a joke to him. My face changed into an annoyed look and I brought my head up, little bits of my hair flung in front of me during the process.

I heard a sigh, before some shuffling towards me. I felt his warm touch on my wrist, sending little sparks of heat to my cheeks. He soon picked up my book and tugged me towards the bed, Adrien let go of my wrist and leaned against the bed board, I caught up with the memo and sat in between his legs, his chest rising up and down.

Adrien started talking about some chemistry terms and pointing it out in the book with his finger. I was too focus on how warm he was, like holy crap, it reminds me of the bakery at home. His body is fine I suppose, Is he shirtless under the hoodie?

"Mari are you listening?" His voice snapped me out of my trance, "Y-Yeah! We were talking about abs- Abstract Art?" I stutter. Adrien bursts into laughter like it's a funny joke, he puts the book in my lap and uses his free arm to lift my chin to meet his eyes. "I can show you more than my abs if you like,

More heat rushes into my cheeks, I move my head down and pull my hoodie up to cover my mad blush. "Shut up..dumbo" I mumble in my hoodie, "Are you sure we haven't met? I swore we had chemistry" I groan in annoyance.

"Its worse that we actually have this class together" I grumble in annoyance.

"Your A-door-able, my blueitful princess" he chuckles

I bring my head down, rolling my eyes, "Oh my gosh- stop, your puns are irritating"

"Are you kitten me?" He purrs, before he continued I got up and shuffled away from him, leaving the warmth. I don't necessarily regret it but if we had a list of pros and cons, there would be more cons and pros.

Adrien bursts into quiet laughs, I shoot him a glare, before accepting my defeat and crawling to his side of the bed. "Good night kitten" I mutter before diving into the sheets.

I felt the bed dip, and my beloved warmth on my back again. He said something again, I didn't want to know what he said but it was too late now.

"I meant it all.." He whispered.

I knew I had to question him tomorrow about what he said, and what he has said on previous nights. I left reality and plunged into this heaven we call sleep.
