I blink once, to realized I had just spaced out and now the rain was pouring heavily, just like that day. I noticed Adrien star gazed at my appearance, taking me in by the second. All of it suddenly came back to me, like wildfire.

"I thought you weren't going to prom?" I inquire, extremely confused. I take a glance at the scenery, fairy lights twisting around the pillars and a few dangling from the ceiling. "Of course I was going, even if I don't have a date I'd still come, not only because of Jagged stone but also it's our last year of high school" He explains calmly.

I blink once again, before just grinning unconsciously, it was a habit I guess. "Now what? Knowing Alya and Nino they've most likely blocked all entrances." Adrien grumbles in annoyance, I couldn't help but chuckle.

"We'll find a way," I state before taking a seat on the concrete staircase, looking at the Rain as it pours heavily down onto the sky. I hear shuffling before he takes a seat next to me, we just stare in the rain deep in thought or just dozing off.

I had that sudden feeling of deja vu, on that night where I had that terrifying nightmare when we were able to create amends with each other before broken by Chloe. "Marinette?"I hum in response, to busy admiring the raindrops falling onto the floor. "I-I, got out of the contract...last Saturday if you were wondering" I immediately make eye contact with him.

My mind wanders off to the possibilities of why he did it, still staring at him I open my mouth.

"Can I ask why?" He scooted closer to me, he ripped his eye contact away from me, as if not wanting to look at me. "Because, I didn't want to be with Chloe, and... there was someone else I wanted to spend my future with, someone more special to me."

My lips form a slight frown before I pull my gaze away and start clutching my dress as it slowly got soaked from the raindrops. I clear my throat, "Whom? may I ask?" My voice was strained.

He gently grabbed my chin, making me look directly at him. Red most likely spread throughout my cheeks at our proximity, he slowly tucked a stray hair behind my ear just like he did on the day I had that nightmare.

Adrien's lips curve into a soft smile, "I want to spend my future with you..." He whispered softly, before continuing. "Marinette Dupain Cheng, I promise to spend my future with you, like how we planned when we were only 4, with dreams wilder than a zoo. I want to be with you for the rest of my days, and only with you. My question is, are you willing to do the same, Bugaboo?" He stated softly, his gaze still on mine.

I felt stunned, not able to move. It wasn't a proposal, but a promise. A promise to love each other, until we're both married. But until then, it was like a mini engagement, with the wedding only 10 years away max. But I can wait, I can wait until then.

As long as I'm with him, with . I'll be fine.

Our faces grew slowly closer and closer to each other. I whisper my reply, in the soft tone, not even a dog could hear it.

"No.."
