This is a story of a boy who was inspired by someone he saw on TV, and he was aspiring to become a Pokémon Trainer. Follow him in his journey across his home region.
  But along the way, he would encounter many situations and peoples that will give him aid in his journey as a Pokémon Trainer, with a wild Riolu as his first Pokémon. His journey also included bad people who wants to take over his home region of Philas.

And then, by the late afternoon, Rico and his group had arrived at Bato-Bato City, a city of mining and the region's main hub of earthenware, stones, and gemstones. It was located near the Bakal Mountains, which contained a very rich series of metal and gems in ores. Due to this, many of the city's residents were miners, and some of them were from different parts of the region just to mine in the rugged mountains. The city was now a prosperous one and filled with businesses that catered and provided services for the residents and everyone else. It was also home to the Rock-type Pokémon gym, whose current leader was Dante Bulalacao, a miner of 27 years of age and a tough-mouthed fellow from the city.

"Woah!" Rico commented in enthusiasm. "This place looks awesome!"

Riolu and Absol were relieved to have arrived at this city.

"Yup, this is Bato-Bato City," Jonathan brightly said to them while holding his smartphone, "a city of rocks and mining."

"So this is that city…" Marshall responded back while gazing at the city's skyline and landscape.

So, the group went to the city as the sun set beautifully on the mountainous horizon in the west. At the same time, Shion was now halfway through the route between Metro Kamias and Bato-Bato City, determining her ambitions and rivalry with Rico.
