Hearing this, Derek quickly tried to think of his worth and ways to convince me, after all, only an idiot wouldn't take this once-in-a-lifetime chance.

And Derek still wanted to live as he had regrets that he would like to try and fix, he especially didn't want to die as his mother might get sad, which he didn't want to occur as he loved his mother.

But no matter how much he thinks about his worth, he only arrived at one conclusion that he wasn't sure would keep him alive.

"Well, I don't know all of the languages as I only have lived a total of 16 years and began studying at least 5 years old if I remembered correctly," he said while waiting for my decision as this would determine if he would either live or die.

I said this to keep the suspense while also enjoying the nervous look on his face as he faced me while sweating buckets.

"I have to say, You have exactly the requirements of what a contractee I would sign with..."

He looked relieved as I said that, though it quickly changed as I said something completely unexpected.

Though I might be a hypocrite by saying this as I also noticed that I'm currently changing at a rapid pace, I wouldn't say that I dislike it though as I know that without changing my attitude I might die without achieving anything in this cruel new world where it's survival of the fittest.

Still, Something is bothering me, I can accept a change in my attitude as it will help me, but still, something about it feels weird to me.

After all, Why would my attitude suddenly change at a fast rate? Am I always like that without me knowing? Am I being influenced by something? The system perhaps?

I just kept it in the back of my head for now as I saw Derek was waiting for my decision anxiously.

He just looked at me and nodded, though I can see the confusion on his face as he didn't know what I meant about the needed change.

I just stared at him for a few moments and flicked my finger as the surroundings changed.

The surrounding currently changing at a fast pace, Though I didn't move as I just continued sitting on the throne while looking at Derek who was watching all of this with confusion, amazement, and shock.

Though his expressions were normal as this was the first time he saw such things. While I also was amazed and shocked, I didn't show all of this and had a neutral look as I didn't want to show such an expression to my possible contractee.

The throne that I was sitting on was in front of a huge rectangular table with plenty of seats visible on the sides. The surroundings were still the same throne room we were in a moment ago except for the change in designs on the side and the table in front of me.
