Today's the 20th of Aprilis, 2021, the day of the tournament. The leaders plus a few other guests from the other nations of the Dark Continent had shown up in response to the invitations we sent out, I'd posted them up in a VIP seating area we'd built in the stadium, with a great view of the arena.

The VIP section was set up with rows of comfy couches and was air-conditioned, and we'd placed a row of fancy vending machines across the back wall of the room, for easy access to snacks and drinks.
