Letter of Caliph Sulaiman

A few soldiers were going on leave from Arur. They intended to bring their children along with them and settle permanently in Sindh on their return. Muhammad ibn al-Qasim wrote a letter to Zubaydah asking her to accompany the women coming from Basra to Sindh and also wrote to the governor of Basra to arrange for her to be brought to Arur with the rest of the women under the protection of soldiers. Day was busy making maps for the conquest of Rajputana and Punjab. After a few days of deliberation, he thought it necessary to subjugate Rajputana before the Punjab.

His intention was to complete the campaign in Rajputana until the arrival of Zubaydah, and after that make Multan his headquarters and head towards the Punjab. So, one evening seven days after the departure of the soldiers for Basra, he marched his troops outside the city. After making a short speech to his troops at the camp, he ordered them to be ready to march in the morning.

But according to a western historian, Muhammad ibn al-Qasim's was setting at exactly two o'clock.

After the morning prayer, when the residents of Arur gathered, they were saying goodbye to Muhammad ibn al-Qasim

And the women were going forward and placing garlands of flowers on the necks of the soldiers.

Suddenly, a flying round appeared from one side and fifty armed Arabs appeared in it. Muhammad ibn al-Qasim was riding around the ranks of the army on a white horse. Seeing the speed of the horsemen coming from a distance, his head froze and he started to face the way of the horsemen along with some of his companions. Along with these riders, Muhammad ibn al-Qasim's soldier was also there who had left for Basra a week ago. A rider went forward and presented a letter to Muhammad ibn al-Qasim and said,

"This is a letter from Amir-ul-Momineen Sulaiman bin Abdul Malik?"

Muhammad bin Qasim was shocked and said, Amir-ul-Momineen ..... Suleiman ... He replied " Yes! Caliph Waleed is dead.

Muhammad ibn al-Qasim said,

"May his soul rest in peace"

He quickly opened the letter and read it and looked at the messenger after bowing his neck for a while and said,This is what I expected from Sulaiman.

Who is Yazid Bin Abu Kabsha?"

A middle-aged man led the horse forward, it is me!

Muhammad moved his horse forward and shook hands with Yazid bin Abu Kabsha. And said, congratulations to you for leading this army. I am here to wear the shackles of Amirul Momineen.

Yazid bin Abu kabsha could not help but be moved by Muhammad ibn al-Qasim's innocent smile.

He looked at the numerous soldiers in the camp awaiting for Muhammad ibn al-Qasim's orders to march, then at the soldiers who had gathered around Muhammad ibn al-Qasim at the news of Walid's death and Sulaiman's accession.

Yazid bin Abu Kabsha felt that he himself was standing as a criminal before the leader of a hundred thousand soldiers.

The words of Muhammad ibn al-Qasim, "I am present to wear the fetters of Amir-ul-Momineen!" rang again and again in his ears.

He was feeling that nature had put the weight of heaven and earth on his shoulders.

Is Muhammad ibn al-Qasim has his eyes bowed and bowed many times.

He looked at his companions.

All of them had their necks bowed and many twelve words came to his tongue and stopped.

Finally he said,

"My friend!"

Nature had written this sin in my part.

Muhammad ibn al-Qasim replied, do not worry.

You are only a messenger.

Khalid! Take them to the palace and, Zubair, order the soldiers that we have postponed the intention of the coach today.

Bheem Singh went ahead and said, "If there is no secret in this letter, then we are all determined to know what order you have received from Sulaiman Amir-ul-Momineen?" Muhammad ibn al-Qasim gave the letter to Muhammad bin Haroon and said. This will be read to you.
