Chapter - 50 David met with an accident.....

Eva drove Ben car like a racing car on a racing track, they were at the hospital, with twenty five minutes,

Ben rushed to the ambulance and was shocked to see David on the stretcher, and trembled for a second, that the critical patients to be operated was David... he rushed him in and checked him , but he seems to be fine to him,

"is he really the emergency surgery patient that you said" , Ben asked,

" Shut up Ben my head is paining, it was me who called him" said David.

A moment later another ambulance raced in and a patient with huge injury was brought in, Ben rushed to him , he looked around for Eva so that she can take care of David's wounds, but she wasn't there. He rushed to the OR.

The patient was given the first aid on time so he was fine after the surgery.

Ben was tired , but happy that he was able to save the patient, he went to check on David, the police man was enquiring about something , when they left Ben went in and asked,

"Exactly what happened David? tell me everything,... Did you hit someone? how did you get injured?"

David looked at him and said, "where are your manners Ben is this how you treat a patient, ? so you were prepared to operate on me",

" Oh shut up David, it's not funny , do you have any idea how devastated I was , when I saw you there in the ambulance" Ben said frustratingly,

"I am fine now, don't worry, did you tell Eva about this? " he asked,

"she was with me when I got the call, we arrive here together, but after that, I couldn't find her anywhere" said Ben.

Eva came running to David's room, and rushed to him crying,

"sir how did this happen? "

she touched his head, and was checking everything panickingly,

"Are you fine , did you get hurt any where else", she asked,

Ben was surprised to see how she was concerned about him,

he was jealous, angry and frustrated....then he realised that something is different, he saw her wearing the coat, he called her

" Eva...!!"

but she didn't respond

then he called,

" Era..!!" she turned back and stood up silently,

It was Ben first experience to meet Era ,he was amazed, he even got goose bumps, he took a long breath and asked again,

" Are you Era?"

"Yes, Ben sir" she replied,

he said ," take of the coat"

"hmm", said Era and took off the coat. He was staring at her surprisingly,

"Why are you staring at me like that Ben?" asked Eva .

he couldn't take it, he started walking here and there....

" hooo.... I need some air , and you follow me ", he said that and went out ,

she looked at David sir and asked , "Are you fine sir? , I'll be back"

David nodded his head, she ran to follow Ben, she was searching for him ,

" where did he go...he just went out but where did he vanished ..." she was roaming around the corridor and then reached the terrace, it was dark there so she bent forward to see around, suddenly she was pulled by someone,

" ahh..." she shouted, a hand covered her face, she removed his hand and said,

" stop it Ben",

He came near to her and touched her face ,

"it's you ...it's really you...that was her...I can feel the difference....." he was still amazed,

" See I told you, that was not my illusion, now you got it right" she said,...

" I can't believe it....my head is going to burst out....ooh...I need something to cool it down..." he was moving around... rucking his head... plucking his hair ...

she came near him and said ,

" cool it down right, how about this, Ben"

she kissed him at once , he was speechless now ,and then ran away....,

" Was that something to cool it down ...ooh...my heart is pondering,"

he said but , Eva ran out of the hospital to her room .. Lara was standing in front of her door babbling..., when she saw Eva she came running and hugged her tightly,

" hey what's up Lara, what happened to you?" Eva asked,

"I don't know what to say Eva .....how to say .....hmm ... Steve" she was hesitating, moving back and forth, Eva stopped her and said,

"Stop it Lara you are making me dizzy, ...what did Steve do? Did he scold you?....Did he asked you something? what is it ?"

Lara hugged her again and said, "He ...he..." babbled lara..

"uhh he... what...?" Eva asked furiously,

"He said ....I love you" ...Lara said emotionally,

"oh....he said ... what...!!??" Eva got another blow....

she pulled her back and asked,

"what.. Steve said what....??"

Lara was blushing and said,

" He proposed me....." , Eva was confused but was happy, her best friend and her sweet brother are a couple...

she asked, " when did it happened?, and what did you say?"

Lara said ,

" I said I need some time to ask you"

Eva laughed loudly,

"you told him that you'll ask me, ....why ?" asked Eva, then said ,

"ok fine , it's your life Lara you have to decide it , do you really like him ? think about it",

Lara said, " what will you do if someone proposed you, suppose, David sir?",

Eva said " what ...uhh .. she'll kill me" ,

Lara asked again ,

" what if it is Ben sir ? ... he's so cool..."

Eva turned red out of shyness...Lara saw her face and said ,

" Are you sick Eva? Do you have fever? why is your face red?"

"that's because I am angry now stop this rubbish and go to sleep", said Eva.

Lara walked away and Eva went inside.

Ben returned to David's room, he was blushing too, David asked him,

"So are you convinced now, "

Ben's mind was full of Eva and her sudden kiss, he didn't heard David talking to him , David noticed that he is not normal so he asked ,

" so you still don't believe it?"

" hmm.... I can't get over it.... ,it was so sudden...I mean ...I didn't imagined " Ben said,

" hmm ...it's your first time...so I can understand..how it is, ...I was like that ....when it was my first time,"

David said casually,

Ben was out of his maze suddenly,

"what?... she kissed you too... when?" he shouted,

David was shocked to hear that, he grabbed a tissue roll from the desk and thrown on him,

" who.. kissed.. whom? .....just go and sleep Ben , I think your mind is out of order," said David.

Ben understood that he uttered something rubbish, he shut his mouth and was silently getting out.

" wait , my phone is smashed, buy me a new one tomorrow,"

Ben turned back , and asked him,

"hey, you didn't tell me, what exactly happened? "

David said,

" I was on my way to come here it suddenly started raining, and I saw a huge truck was standing very far from me but it suddenly started and came straight to me , I was able to dodge some how and my car hit the tree but that truck hit a man, brutally who was behind me,

"Did you see the number plate ..."

"It was dark and raining Ben I didn't notice it , but I couldn't understand, was it after him or me? " David said with a doubt,

Ben asked,

" why would he hit you intentionally David, there must be a reason behind everything, or do you have a reason?"

David sensed something but he was not sure,

" what reason Ben is it some thriller movie.., go and sleep now Ben ,I am a patient now I need to rest too"

" ok fine , but I must say , you did a great job, he was alive because you stopped his bleeding, good job "said Ben ,

" good night Ben " said David .

Ben left from there, but David's mind was disturbed, because the file he was carrying, was missing, so he doubted that, the accident may be intentional..... but who could it be is yet to know...
