Chapter 04: The Reptoids from the Underground City "Capital"

As Niko and Clay continued walking down towards the Underground City "Capital" Niko realized that there were more Reptoid Species existed.

They were just hiding beneath the surface.

"How come you guys haven't shown yourselves to us on the surface?" Niko asked.

Clay looked at Niko with a serious face and replied "If we've shown our kind to the people of the surface they would have instantly panicked and began attacking us, Because of our species we are treated as monsters."

Niko was confused and asked "Why would they treat you as monsters? When you're all so kind."

Clay took a deep breath and then explained

"People aren't all the same Niko, Others judge us because of our outer appearance. Like you, When you saw us at the underground river you were seriously shivering in fear! keke"

Niko scratched his head and said "My bad, I'm sorry that I've misjudged your kind, Clay."

Clay then smiled and replied "It's okay Niko, It's not anything new to us. We've tried Showing ourselves on the surface before but the people would instantly grab their weapons and then try to kill us. That's why we've been at this underground city for a long time."

Niko asked "When was the last time they've shown themselves? Since I was born i haven't heard any news about your Race (The Reptoids) I've traveled and explored half of the Entire world but I haven't seen or heard one of your kind."

Clay burst into laughter and then said "What? You traveled the World? Are you joking? Keke!"

Niko replied "Well yeah, I've been a Relic agent since i was 11 years old and here I am now 18 years old.

I've traveled all across the globe searching for Potential Relics."

Clay looked at Niko's eyes and said "Well if you say so, It's too soon for you to know either. Come on, Let's resume our tour on our precious Capital."

Niko looked at Clay with a curious face and said "Okay Clay! Count me in!"

Then they continued visiting from shop to shop, to restaurant and restaurant. And visited the Parks where they relax and many more places such as INN's.

Niko was overjoyed touring a place he had never seen before.

Then clay asked "You really enjoy discovering new things huh? Keke" And then grabs Niko from the shoulder.

Niko then replied "Ofcourse! That's what Relic Agents do! We discover new places, We discover Historical items that are worth for over alot of money. But the main joy of being a Relic agent is Being able to Explore alot of places. That's why ever since I've heard that there was a Organization called Relic Corps, that it's main purpose is to travel around the world and search for Potential Relics, I rushed as soon as I heard about it and applied."

Clay laughed and tapped Niko's back and said "Damn kid, you really are an adventurer type of person."

Niko smiled proudly as he was praised as an Adventurer.

Then the Heat orb began to slowly decrease its solar power.

And then the entire Capital began to turn darker.

Niko asked out of curiosity "How come the Heat Orb's light began to dim? I thought it Absorbs the earth's solar crest deep down the inner crest?"

Clay replied "If we did that 24/7 then the earth would extremely change its environment. Climate changes, Tsunamis would flood the world due to Earth's Solar power being absorbed and would cause a unbalanced resistance to the world's layer.

So that means, you people from the surface would suffer alot."

Niko again confused and then replied "Even though I didn't get it halfway through. I kinda understand a bit." Then he scratched his head.

Clay replied "Nevermind about the things that are hard to understand, for now let's go to my house and get some rest. If the Heat orb gets dimmer it means its night time already on the surface."

"Okay let's get some sleep for now Clay so lead the way." Niko replied.

Clay smiled at him and then they started walking.

Meanwhile somewhere at the Pacific ocean where the Ship that Chloe's in steadily moves towards the route to Swaudi.

Chloe wakes up from her rest and then realized that its already night time. Then she wore her Combat boots and wore a new polo and then got out of her room. While she was walking around she sees alot of people still shivering in fear due to what happened earlier. Then she sees a crying woman that keeps on mumbling words. When chloe turned to go the left side of the ship she sees a Cafeteria that was packed with alot of Costumers.

Then Chloe started to slip inside up to the counter.

And she bought some food to fill up her stomach.

Then she walked while eating and got outside at the back of the ship. Where she sees a man sitting at the top of the back of the ship.

She then gulps after she drank her water and then asked "Excuse me sir? Are you alright?" then she walks slowly towards the guy.

"No I'm not okay, my wife and daughter were killed at E-Port, I was the first one to go on the Ship because of the Master I serve back from Egypt." The man replied.

"I wish I brought them with me, They were inside the last ship when I contacted them. But the giants jumped off the dock and then destroyed the last ship." the man cried while speaking.

"I'm sorry for your loss sir. I, too have lost my family back there. They were at land trying to lure the Giants. But The giants were Intellect so they didn't fell for the trap. And my father was left behind to defend the citizens at the dock." Chloe replied.

The man wipes his tears and asked "Why does this have to happen to us right? Why of all places they have to be at Egypt? Those giants bastards where did they even came from?"

Chloe ate some of her food and then said "Those giants came on top of the pyramids of Egypt. I was there when the Pyramid's top roof exploded. And then 1 naked giant suddenly appeared then started throwing the pyramid's rocks at the soldiers below."

"So those giants were born at the pyramid? How come?" The man asked.

"Based on my father's research it seemed that those Pyramids were built and had some portals stock on them. But it was so hidden that our technologies weren't able to discover it." Chloe replied.

"Oh, that's some High tech they're using right? Oh sorry for my rudeness, we were talking alot I forgot to introduce my name. My name is Michael Mayns, It's nice to meet you?" Michael said.

"Chloe, Chloe Patrickson. Nice to meet you Michael." Chloe replied and then shook hands with Michael.

Then they smiled while the Ocean's wind were breezing.

Then there was Niko Noir enjoying a feast with the Reptoids at the Underground City "Capital".

"Give me some of your booze! Kekeke" Niko said.

Clay held Niko's head then said "I'm sorry kids at your age aren't allowed to drink our booze. In our kind, the legal age to drink are 25."

"What a geezer, Fine. I'm just gonna fill myself up with all this food." Niko said while grabbing a plate.

Clay laughed and replied "Eat to your heart's content boy! kekeke"

Then As the Night passed they enjoyed their Feast.

Then the reptoids got drunk then fell asleep, Niko on the other hand wasn't drunk but fell asleep first.

Then morning came but the Destruction of Egypt wasn't done yet.

The U.S military gave some troops to the Egyptian Military and deployed Fighter planes to kill the Alpha breeds. Then the pyramids exploded again and then Other Alpha breeds came out from the pyramid. But it wasn't the same as the first 5 Alpha breeds. The 2nd wave were Alpha breeds that were wearing Armors and holding Weapons and they were over 20 feet tall. Unlike the previous ones that were naked and then 10 feet tall only.

Then the Alpha breeds started talking to Each other with a different language that humans couldn't understand. Then they started moving according to the Alpha breed's (With the Red helmet) orders.

Then fighter planes started firing at the Giants that were on their way to Egypt City. But one of the Giants had a long ranged weapon (Crossbow) Then It shot the fighter planes then exploded. And the Military troops that were deployed at the ground suddenly fired at the giants. But the bullets could not pierce their thick skins. Then The battle continued until the Giants exterminated all of the Military forces that the U.S and Egypt deployed at the City.

Then the scene went to the White House where they held a meeting.

The President of U.S and Vice President attended as well as other executives. And on the Screen they had the Ambassador of Egypt.

Then the Briefer explained what was going on.

"It seems that even our latest weaponry weren't a match for this Giant creatures." The Briefer said.

Then the President asked "Are we really gonna get exterminated by this giant creatures? Let us nuke Egypt and send them to their demise."

The ambassador of Egypt was silent.

The Vice president then asked "But Sir President, The Country of Egypt still has many citizens left. They are still hiding through out the entire Egypt. We cannot just nuke the place."

The President replied "I know, But do we have any other choice? The giants are assembling there. They even got new giants to appear and more bigger than the first ones that have caused destruction upon E-Port."

"But we need the confirmation from the ambassador, we can't just do what we want while he is listening. It's his country after all that were talking about nuking." the briefer said.

The Vice President then asked the Ambassador "Sir, what will be your decision? Are you interested on the President's plan? But I will warn you that this plan might kill alot of your citizens. But this is still an unsure plan that can surely kill the giants. If they are Immune to massive explosions too and radiation then all the lives that were killed by the nuke would be in vain."

Then the meeting went silent for 2 minutes.

then amidst the silence the Briefer asked "What will be your decision Ambassador?"

Then after 3 minutes of thinking the Ambassador of Egypt gave his answer.

Then the scene went to Niko where he was about to wake up.

"Woah that was a long rest, my body sure enjoyed a long rest. It's almost 10am now." Niko said after yawning.

Then Clay came up to his tent and asked if he wanted to eat with the reptoids.

"Sure wait let me just wear something, I'll be out in a minute." Niko replied.

Then while changing, Niko thought if Chloe's doing alright and where would she be right now.

Then he got out of his tent and came to where Clay was at.

Then they were about to go to the Restaurant when a sudden Earthquake shook the entire Underground.

"What was that!?" Niko asked.

"I don't know either, Let's go meet the others." Clay Replied.

Then they ran to the restaurant but everyone was not there. Not even a single reptoid on dine was there except for the one who manages the orders.

Clay asked the Reptoid that was on the desk "Where is everybody? Did something happen?"

"Yes, I think it was because of the sudden earthquake, I think they are gathered at the Hall right now." The reptoid replied.

"Come on niko, let's go see them at the Hall." Clay said

"Okay, Lead the way clay." Niko replied.

Then they see alot of reptoids gathered on the hall, and The Elder Reptoid (Mayor) was there too.

There were executives from the Reptoids that also gathered.

Then the Elder said that he dispatched a troop at the surface to see what was going on.

Then the reptoids started chatting with each other.

After 15 minutes, the Reptoids that were sent to gather information on the surface showed up.

The elder asked "What happened there? what was the reason for the Earthquake?"

Then one of the reptoids from the troop replied "Sir, Don't be shocked. But the Alpha breed are still standing unscathed."

"What do you mean?" The Elder asked.

"The Giants are still Standing, While the Egypt City is no more." The Reptoid replied.

Then the Scene where the giants are Still standing was shown.

"The Human race tried to bomb the Alpha breeds, But they did not get any damage at all. The entire Egypt is now destroyed!" The Reptoid said anxiously.

"No, Chloe!" Niko yelled and tried to rush on going back to the surface.

"Boy! Stop, the Radiation might kill you if you go there right now." The Reptoid said.

"He is right, you must stay here. You are safe if you stay here." Clay said to Niko.

"But, But, Chloe's at the surface! She's my family. I can't just stay here and do nothing while she is suffering at the surface!" Niko Said while crying.

The elder then said "Silence, all of you. You all are forbidden to go outside, Because the radiation will instantly kill you."

Then the elder walked away.

And other reptoids soon followed.

Then Niko was still crying while walking.

Clay tried to comfort Niko while they were on the way back.

Then Niko said, "It's all because of those Giant bastards appeared that Egypt now is no more."
