He knew they would be scouting for message birds, making it impossible to report back to the Holy Empire of Yara. 

They had planned it perfectly, even if the earthquake hadn't happened. Raj and his army would have been stuck on the land, defending the already fallen Holy Kingdom with no way to contact the Holy Empire of Yara.

Raj's mind raced with thoughts of how to handle the situation. He knew that if they didn't act fast, they would lose the war. The Holy Empire had been fighting for years to take down the Organization and with the aid of Ancorna, their efforts could be rendered useless.

Raj turned to his top generals and began to strategize. They knew they couldn't take on the combined forces of the enemy and Ancorna, so they needed a new plan. They decided that their only hope was to attack Ancorna's ships before they reached their destination, but they needed to act quickly.
