Speed-run Civilization

The air in the grand hall grew tense as the diplomats from the Human Rights Council engaged in a heated discussion with Emperor Shah and his son Farhan. The fate of slavery in the new Demogus empire hung in the balance, and the contrasting perspectives clashed like opposing waves.

Jorn observed the scene, his gaze shifting from the determined diplomats to the formidable father and son duo. It was clear that the abolishment of slavery presented a significant challenge, considering its deep-rooted presence within the empire's economy. The diplomats, however, stood firm in their commitment to upholding the principles of human rights.

Emperor Shah, a seasoned ruler, leaned forward in his throne, his eyes filled with a mix of defiance and concern. "You must understand that the institution of slavery has been an integral part of our society for generations. To abolish it completely would have dire consequences for our economy and stability."
