NOTE: These are the things I skipped in the previous chapter.

1. Kagami's Death

2. Minato's Graduation. (It was said that he had the fastest graduation time before Itachi broke it at 6 years or so age, so I'm thinking he was 7 years. He didn't have a sensei till Jiraiya came back from Amegakure and took him in.

3. Dan died. I mentioned it and that's all that matters. This way she can comfortably take Shizune, who is Dan's niece with her as she travels in the future.

4. Kawaki isn't all that important to me so don't expect me to mention him. He might even be schemed against and offed along the way, so...

...

Title: Consecutive Timeskips.

...

Shun's POV.

So here I am, floating above the skies of Hana, looking for a proper Tengoku family to insert myself into, however nothing of note is going to be happening now...

Minato is already 12 years old, and Kakashi is soon to be clocking 2 years old soon.

Sad lad. His mother died shortly after giving birth to him... And you know the funny part? She was from the Inuzuka clan. One would expect them to be tough and all but apparently, she wasn't.

This led to Sakumo dividing his time between being a father and a Jounin commander. He was the Anbu commander for some time but retired after his second in command died due to his error in judgement.

And guess who that second in command was?... That's right... It was Dan.

Anyways, I was stuck between being younger than Kakashi who still reincarnating now but be a better genius. You know... With me also having white hair and all.

Wait a minute... Why don't I just find someone who's the same age as him, then become his younger brother? Maybe be Shusui's age mate or Itachi?

Hmm... Shusui would be five years younger than Kakashi while Itachi would be three years younger than Shusui. That means I would eight years younger than Kakashi if I want to be Itachi's agemate.

Hmm... That's a pain in the ass... I still want to get close to the Minato-Kushina couple, this was when I get close to little Ashu-Naruto, I could give Hiruzen and Danzo the middle finger if they want to play politics around me.

That's a good thought, but that means, I would be the Itachi-like figure of Naruto, and while Itachi would go apeshit on his clan and little Sasuke, Naruto would have a relatively good life.

Meh... It's the hardships that made Naruto who he is... I'll be the big brother figure for them both but won't disrupt how the village will be treating them.

That aside though, would I have to float around her for six more years? I do want to see the scene of Minato slaughtering a thousand Ninjas but that would be impossible as I would be trapped in the body of a toddler by then...

That's it... My Calogram. Just set one to monitor his movements and watch them later. It wasn't shown in the anime so I guess I'll have to make mine, heh, how genius can I be?

I just hope those girls wouldn't be doing anything that will require a good dose of... Omnipotence, was it?

...

With the defeat, or rather, stalemate between the Legendary Sanins and Hanzo, The Second World War came to an end. The aftermath of this war left many, villages, big and small, families and clans distraught.

There were several cases of Ninjas going rouge in each and every village.

Such an example was the Spectacular but hidden Hiruko who despite his genius, was overshadowed by the light his former classmate exuded during the war.

Feeling that his presence was of little to no importance to the village, he used the technique he had perfected the kill some prominent Jounins from various clans before fleeing from camp.

His motive was to acquire all their unique genes as well, as current abilities... Since he was deemed inferior to the Sanins, he would become the ultimate Ninja and show them that they were wrong.

It was a good motivation and all but it was obvious he was going about it the wrong way... I guess that's the perks of being a side character.

Another group was the Yonkos, as they were called before they also faded from prominence with the emergence of the Sanins.

They felt that Thier presence was being rather unwelcomed in the village and due to them being among the strongest around, they also left active duty, without taking permission.

Hiruzen didn't immediately place them on the nuke list as that would be stupid from his part in this time of war.

Jiraiya had gone back to Konoha and taken another student... You guessed it... Minato.

According to him, the kid had the eyes of the prophesied one and also talent and heart. He was kind to everyone and you would rarely ever see him without a smile.

Their relationship lasted for an entire year until Jiraiya was called back to active duty. As his student, Jiraiya took the little Minato to the frontlines where he served as fodder for a while before making some merits.

(A/N: Fodder in this case is not the general fodder that is sent to make up numbers in a battle. Fodder here means messengers and escorts.)

In one particular mission where he was trusted with a piece of information to be delivered from their base in the land of fire all the way to the main battleground in Kusagakure.

During the journey, he was beset by Danzo's root transformed as Iwa Chunin but being the genius he was, he managed to survive by escaping them.

(A/N: Don't think that being a genius would make him able to kill trained and experienced killers... Emotionless ones at that.)

This piece of information was something that would delay the war efforts of Iwagakure, which was something Danzo didn't want, but after delivering the information, he was invited by Hiruzen who knew the deeper story and was promoted to Chunin.

When asked what he wanted, he asked for the chance to pick one technique from the forbidden scroll of seals...

Hiruzen was stumped at first, but knowing what Danzo did, he couldn't help but agree. Plus, as Jiraiya's student and his grand student, a little favouritism was in order.

Well, we all know what technique the little blond haired genius picked and that was it about him.

...

Back in Amegakure, I noticed that the three Orphans had formed a group and named it after their hopes for a brighter dawn after the storm, however, I didn't know if it was me being paranoid or just the butterfly playing its effects, Konan seemed to be the leader as she seemed to know more than she was supposed to.

I almost wanted to check if she was a reincarnator who has a system or something but I refrained... It was probably the butterfly... I wonder if Hanzo and Danzo would be able to kill Yahiko like they did before.

...

Years went by and finally decided on a family to reincarnate in. They had only one kid who a girl and was Kakashi's ages mate. Similarly, they seemed to be for another to no avail.

It's not like I had anything to do with it...

Anyways, years seemed to pass and when Kakashi was finally around four years old, I had the favour of having a reason to have Danzo suffer a fate worse than death after Itachi or Sasuke kills him in the future.

I mean, this is one of those reasons why I never really liked Tobirama's system of government. Yes, it's democratic but in every democratic system of government, there should be a limit.

Whether it is because they're the strongest or just because they enjoy that feeling of staying in power, the position of Kage seemed to be something anyone with enough strength and followers can get.

I know that's what politics is all about but this is just too much. I'm pretty sure Madara is currently mocking Hashirama from where he's, siphoning off the life force from the Gedo Statue.

Danzo would be the personification of the Darkness Madara warned Hashirama about.

But... I also blame Sakumo... Loyalty is one thing, but blind loyalty? Sigh... That's the disadvantages of being a swordsman... A good one at that... You just stand firm to your beliefs... No matter how stupid they are.

He has a son he needs to look out for but there he is, being all depressed as fuck...

He has a bit of Mikoto's blood in him so should I save him...? Nah, that would literally change the trajectory of this world.

Think about it... He doesn't die, Kakashi doesn't go emo and graduates early, Guy doesn't have a rival, Obito probably doesn't die and give him the Sharingan, Rin doesn't die, and Obito doesn't see his best friend killing his 'girlfriend', Madara doesn't get a good pawn with Hax powers and my whole efforts goes to shit...

Well, he didn't really move on after his death, enabling him to be able to meet Kakashi and ask for his forgiveness when pain killed him, so... I guess I'll keep him company in the world in-between the living and dead.

Just hope I don't encounter Pops. Don't wanna have to have to call the son of my woman father... GAH, that's weird.

...

Oh dear... There he goes... Looking at the crystal blue butterfly that floated atop of Sakumo's unmoving body, I couldn't help but shake my head in pity.

This kind of person is a man amongst men, but what did he get for all his loyalty and my hard earned nurturing? Death... Death by Suicide... Which is a very shameful form of death.

Welps, look at it float, doesn't want to move on, eh? Let's invite him for a chat shall we?

Saying that, I tore open the void and directly out my hands inside to pull him in. Unlike Izuna's soul crystal, he's was still quite aware.

"Hello there Sakumo-san." I said to the little butterfly flapping it wings and looking at me in suspicion.

"Who are you?" I felt his soul transmit this over to me.

"Well, you can call me... Kami or ancestor if you'd like." I said and directly transformed the place we were at into a cozy room from my imagination. His figure also took on his human one from when he was alive.

"Kami, you say?" He asked. I guess be didn't get the ancestor part. Humans and their weirdness.

"Yup. I can create life and take it... I've been alive since the beginning of my Universe and will remain till after it's destruction. Tell me, if I'm not God then what am I am?" I asked with a smirk.

"Hmm..." He hummed and looked around. "Where am I then?"

I guess he doesn't really believe but who cares. I just need company is all. "Well, you're dead." I said not eliciting and reaction from him. "And you're on your way to heaven or hell. This now...is your judgement."

"I see." He said as his depression came back... Damn, didn't know emotions like this followed the soul even after death... Just kidding I knew, but this? Oof. "Well, I will do you one better and be in my way to hell then."

"Hmm? Why do you say so?" I asked. I get the earlier depression but this feeling of not even wanting redemption and wanting to plunge himself into hell...

"I failed my superiors... I caused the deaths of many and killed many directly. I don't think I deserve redemption..." He answered.

"I see." I said and a cup of tea appeared in my hand which I sipped. "Have you ever heard of the law of Cause and Effect?"

Shaking his head he asked. "What's that? And what those it have to do with this."

"Oh, a lot actually. A whole lot." I said and sipped my tea again. "You see, with your death, you've set off a...a chain reaction that will go down in building the people of the future into better people." I said and snapped my finger and a screen appeared, showing the little Kakashi looking at the corpse of his father.

The screen went on to play what I had calculated to be the future Kakashi would follow with his father's death up until he with the help of three blurry people 'defeated' Kaguya who was like the last boss of figures I didn't get a clear picture of due to only calculating Kakashi's future.

At the end of the video, Sakumo's face was soaked in tears... I didn't even know that souls could cry... Really... I didn't know that one.

"What do you think?" I asked the sobbing father.

"I've failed him..." He answered causing my eyes to twitch. Damn, I also didn't know I could do that. But what's wrong with this man? Can't he see the bright future his death led to?

"Well, you did fail him, thats for sure... But, life's a journey and in every journey, you encounter things, good and bad... You bringing him into this world is already good enough. Your death, bad, the life he lives... A mix of both. But that will shape him into a man I'll be entrusting my brothers to." I said trying to reason with the man.

"So where does that place me?" He asked after a moment of silence.

"Nowhere actually?" I replied.

"Nowhere? Is that another place other than heaven and hell?" He asked.

"Nope, its a place outside of heaven and hell."

"Isn't that the same thing?"

"Semantics, my friend, semantics. Anyways, you have some things to say to the young boy right?" I asked to which he nodded. "Then that's good, you just have to keep me company here for a few years and you'll get to meet him."

"I see," he said. "What do I have to do?"

"Nothing actually. Just sit there and talk about whatever is bothering you. Watch what I watch and see how the hubris of you humans entertain me." I said. It's a good things this guy is quite receptive. If it any other person, they'd probably geek out at meeting God or something...

...Wait a goddamn minute... Does this mean I can really isekai someone? This guy beside me for example?

I could put his soul through an illusion and make him live a good 20+ years on earth and then die... Awaken him from the illsuion and offer him a chance at a new life in Naruto world...

Wow... Just wow....this changes things... The changes a lot of things actually... Damn, I could actually gather faith in this little fragment soul of mine from this world....

...Nah... Maybe another time... But this is good... Damn, I knew I was a genius.

...

And so, I began my retreat with Sakumo as we watched the people and places I deemed important from the screen I created. I could have continued watching with an omniscient view point considering my attunement with natural energy, but as I have a guest with me here, I have to be a good host.

You know... There was a rumour that The disappearance of the Third Kazekage was the spark behind the third Shinobi war, but that was only one part.

It was the spark behind Sunagakure's involvement with the war. Sasori was a good guy, in a weird way. If her could actually have a book on advanced technology, I dare say he could make himself a literal living weapon.

Unfortunately, I fear the farthest he could possibly go would be the stage he was at during the canon.

Lack of materials, lack of required knowledge. All these would limit him greatly. Hopefully he does go to Rōran, he could learn a lot there, however knowing his character, Ria or Hina would be forced to off him.

Oh well... This new Kage, Rasa... I wonder how strong he is. He's stupid, that's for sure, but whether his strength can make up for that is yet to be seen.

He hasn't fought any battles so far other than subduing Shukaku who went on a rampage after Bunpuku died.

Sometimes, if he used words to speak, he would be more likeable. I get he was in grief as Bunpuku was a nice guy and all, but destroying things as soon as you come out? Damn, kid..

Over at the Mist side, nothing of note was occurring other than their increased bloodthirsty ways. I did warn Zetsu about exterminating my treasure trove of Kekkai Genkai, didn't I?

Wait, did I?

Meh, whatever... The disturbing thing was the fact that I finally saw Izanagi after so many years and what was he doing disguised as an orphaned kid in Kiri?

Well, he has his ideas so I'll let him be... Nami was still on her personal island of women, "Nearly every man's dream, wouldn't you say so Sakumo?" I asked the man beside me as we observed them.

"Any lay man would think this to be peeping but I was just checking up on my daughter, wouldn't you agree?" I asked him as I saw his reproachful gaze despite the heavy blush on his blue soully face.

He nodded his head as he focused back on observing them... Truly a descendant I'm very proud of.

Tomoe on the other hand has gotten quite old but for some reason her vitality doesn't seem to be dwindling, it was increasing steadily.

One had to know she's as old as Hashirama and Madara... Did I create a body cultivator by chance?

Huhu..huhu...Hahahaha. interesting. Truly interesting.

"Ah! Look, your son has graduated, isn't that great?" I asked seeing the iconic scene of so many five year old gathered around a smug looking boy of similar age with a face mask on his face..

Yup... I can see the smugness all over his face, not even that mask can stop this God.

"This wasn't how it's supposed to be." Sakumo said dejectedly.

"Mah. Mah. Life's a journey, my friend, how he lives it if up to him." I said. "Sigh... Don't worry, he's protected by Fate(Plot) nothing will happen to him."

"I hope so... He's barely even six years old. I had to stay in the academy far longer than he had been alive." Sakumo complained.

"I get you my friend. I do." I said.

"No you don't.."

"No I don't."

We then proceeded to watch as the young bloke went around doing what he was told, forsaking his fellow ninjas without even a second thought.

From a young age, he was basically becoming a walking husk. Damn, the anime didn't show us this part.

"C-can't you..do something about this?" The father beside me asked with trembling voice..

"Well, why didn't you think of this when you offed yourself?" I asked back? "It's the cause and effect little one, this is the effects of your foolshness."

"But..I had no choice." He said in a small voice.

"Excuses... Those are the one thing I detest just after seeing a child being misguided." I said in a serious tone. "You had a lot of choices to pick from. You had a kid who didn't get to know his mother, and you chose what? Pride? Over your own son?" I scoffed. "I may like you but don't make me begin to reason your case in more depth. Keep watching.... Take that as your own hell and redemption."

After saying that, I forced the man to watch as Kakashi kept on going like this till two years passed.

He was now none years old and his other classmates also graduated from the academy due to a lack of personnel in the battlefield.

"Sigh... The very thing Hashirama fought against recurring, over and over again." I muttered.

"Can't you change it?" Sakumo asked. There was a moment of silence before I smiled and asked. "You've been watching the world these past few years with me... What do you think will happen if I decide to end all wars with my Godly powers?"

Sakumo sighed and lowered his head. "There would only be a moment of peace till you leave and it'll all come back." He replied.

"That's exactly what I try to explain to that old geezer in Mount Myboku but he thinks I'm being selfish." I said with a huff.

"Mount Myoboku? The Toad Sage Land?"

"Yeah... Gamamaru has been alive for close to a thousand years now... We go way back." I said nonchalantly.

"I see." I think he's getting used to it quite nicely. Wonder how he'll react if he's exposed to my original soul full form. Hah.

We watched as the three of Kakashi, Rin and Obito became a team, sparking a little bit of hope in Sakumo's heart. He probably thought that this will make Kakashi learn the importance of companionship. However...

Years went by with no improvement whatsoever. Three years to be exact. They were now 12 year olds and Kakashi was still the 'Rules are Rules' kind of guy, leading to an increased level of enmity between him and the little Uchiha.

Rin was always the mediator between the two. Many wouldn't see it but She treated these two as her family. That's what Orphans tend to do when they get teamed up.

Obito saw her care for him and thought it was love, not knowing it was the love a sister would show their brother. I guess that line would even mislead me as an adult.

"I'm always watching you." That's what she said to Obito when he tried to hide his injuries from her.

Neither Obito nor Kakashi knew the efforts she put in learning Medical Ninjutsu just so that she could take care of them.

Granted, she was trash in all other areas but I bet she's even more genius than Sakura at that age.

"Not even a girl could move him?" Sakumo muttered on this day.

"I don't recall you being moved by any girl other than Chisato... And it was until she handed your ass to you that you finally noticed her." I said to the man causing him to pause and smile sadly.

"I guess... Is she..."

"Yeah... She's at rest. I can help you two meet later on after you've met your son.." I said.

"Thank you."

"Don't mention it."

Don't mind the fact that I'm here talking to Sakumo, three years ago... When my soon to be parents were going at it again... I had sent over a piece of my soul to make sure the conception went without a hitch.

I'm currently a three year old kid in Hanagakure but I think I'm developing alright. I've been transfering my soul over little by little and I'm left with only 20 percent of the original fragment. In two years, give or take, I'll have to leave here to Sakumo and go live my new life.

Itachi is also three years old and Fugaku would probably be taking him to the battlefield in a year's time. Heh, father of year.

I just wonder if I'll be able to meet him in the Chunin exams. My sister Yusano was already a Gold Rank(Jounin), same as Kakashi.

'Incidentally' they had met in their Chunin exams and quickly became frenemies. Apparently, my sister didn't like the prospect of having another white haired boy who wasn't a Tengen be lauded as a genius when she was around.

This 'Led' to them meeting Kushina and Minato later on. Yusano and Kushina quickly became friends considering their ancestry...

I totally had nothing to do with it...

...

Back in Amegakure... Something funny did happen... Yahiko isn't dead...

Shocking... I know but guess what? Nagato still became Pain, with all the rods sticking out of his back and ass.

Unfortunately for me, I don't know what happened... My only concern is that they don't turn out to be the Akatsuki that will begin the Third Shinobi war...

Hmm... I guess I'll leave it up to fate to see how it goes...

"Sakumo..." I called out. "I'll be leaving you here for a period of time."

"I see," he said. "For how long?"

Doesn't this know how to begin a sentence with anything other than 'I see'?

"I don't know. Just know you'll have the privilege of watching your son grow up... Though you won't have a hand in bringing him up."

"I thought you said I'm the original cause."

"Whatever man. Whatever... Just watch him alone. Don't try to fiddle with anything here or you may cease to exist." I said gravely causing him to gulp.

****

That's it for today... In case you're wondering... Yes... I'll be saving Rin, but that'll be after Obito goes on his rampage and all.

He needs to be Tobi... Wouldn't you all agree?
