Drunk and A Strange Feelings

Two weeks have passed since Celine stayed at Jayden's house. Lately, she has been busy with many things and has begun to focus on preparing for the drama.

She no longer accepts to appear on a talk show or a magazine photo shoot. All her schedules were already very tight. Not to mention, next week she and all the drama cast are required to go overseas, where they are filming later.

Therefore, she tries her best to correct all her shortcomings and continues to try to communicate with Jayden, even though she continues to be ignored and given cruel remarks by him.

That didn't make her give up. The more Jayden ignored her, the more it made her aggressively pester him.

And now, they were all at a dinner banquet deliberately organized by the drama crew. The meal was held in Simon's backyard, which had a large courtyard.

In addition, this banquet is held to encourage all of them who will be busy for the next few months, including the filming process to the drama promotion period.

Everyone has fun. They burn a lot of meat and also marshmallows to eat together. About fifty to sixty people contributed to the banquet, making the event even more lively even though the night wind was biting the skin.

There was a big bonfire burning there. A bunch of wood was thrown into the bonfire from time to time so that warmth could touch everyone there. To make sure that they could feel comfortable during the banquet held.

"Where's Jayden? Why didn't I see him earlier? Did he leave already?" Celine looked at the crowd around her with a probing gaze.

Yes, because she was too carried away by the chatter of the crew earlier, although most of the time she was silent and listened to their conversation, she just realized that Jayden's figure had disappeared from her eye. Even after searching all over the place, she still couldn't find him.

Sitting next to Celine, Simon turned around after hearing the remark. After that, he replied while pointing to the right, "He's sitting under the tree over there."

After following Simon's pointing finger, she finally found Jayden. He was sitting about fifteen meters upfront right them, under a big tree six meters from the campfire. "Ah! But why?"

"I'm not sure. He didn't seem in a good mood. Previously, he had also asked me to separate himself."

Celine suddenly got up while holding the wine glass and a plate of marshmallows in her hand. "Then I'll go to accompany him."

"Okay."

After getting permission, she left the group of the crew, who were very noisy and talking about many things. And when she got there, she found that Jayden was daydreaming while staring at the blazing campfire.

"Why did you separate yourself like this?" wondered Celine after putting her food on the table.

"Is something wrong?" Celine whispered again, this time more carefully.

Jayden wears a white shirt and black pants. His sleeve rolled up to his elbow. Also, he left two buttons of his shirt open, exposing his stocky muscles for free.

"Leave me alone!" he snapped curtly, just like always.

That's all Celine got in return. But she's used to it. So, instead of leaving, she drew closer to him.

"Don't want to. Lucia's not here, and I don't know any of them except Simon. Only you that I know," Celine bravely refused.

Ahem!

She cleared her throat, trying to throw out the awkward feeling in her heart. She had to adjust as soon as possible to avoid becoming uncomfortable. Her purpose in coming here was to accompany Jayden, so she had to get the topic of conversation quickly.

"Next week, we go to Kitt. Have you been to that country before?"

Jayden took a deep breath. He then put the cigarette in his hand and asked, half-mumbling, "Why?"

Instantly, Celine pulled both corners of her lips up, making a sweet smile map on her beautiful face that only wore a thin polish of make-up. "So, have you been there? What's the place like?"

Jayden's eyes glanced briefly at the people chatting with each other in front of there. It was the crew and also the cast of this drama. They all seem very noisy.

"It's icy there compared to this city. In addition, Arc city has fewer inhabitants compared to the surrounding cities. However, because it's near the forest, not infrequently, there are wild animals down to find food."

Celine's hair stood on end as she listened. "Wild animals?"

"Mn. They only come down once every few weeks. Haven't you looked it up on the internet?"

Celine innocently shook her head. "I haven't had time."

The state of Arc City is already a little imagined in Celine's head. It was a small town with few inhabitants with hills around it. There are many tall buildings, but not infrequently, abandoned buildings.

From the story she heard from Simon, Arc used to be a big city and the center of Kitt country mobility in the past. Due to its less strategic location, Arc city began to be abandoned by many people in the last ten years.

Instead, it was Pille city that replaced Arc city as the mobility center of the country. The distance between Arc City and Pille city is about 100 kilometers.

"Simon talked about myths spread in the Arc city. Do you believe that?" she asked. Because Jayden knows a lot about Arc city, he seems to know about myths in that city.

"True or not, it has absolutely nothing to do with me. Because the people there believe in it, we have to respect them."

After that, he glanced at Celine. When he saw her face red, he finally realized what she had been drinking.

"Are you crazy? You're drunk!"

Jayden grabbed the glass in Celine's hand, then put it in the far corner of the table so that she could not reach it.

"I'm not drunk! My head is just a little dizzy, but I'm fine," eluded Celine, reluctant to admit it.

Jayden snorted and stood up.

"Where are you going?"

"Wait here!"

Jayden went towards the horde of people in front of there. After a minute, he returned with a glass of water and handed it to Celine. "Drink up. If you vomit, then it will trouble many people. I don't want my car to smell like alcohol!"

Celine leaned her back on the back of the chair after she received the glass. She wasn't drunk, but she was a little drunk.

After drinking a few sips of water in the glass, she turned her head to Jayden, who sat back in place.

"May I say something to you?"

Nonchalantly, he retorted, "What?"

"My body is not very strong with the cold. And after hearing your explanation earlier, it seems Arc city has a bad temperature. I'm not sure if I can survive there or not."

Jayden was stunned. Nevertheless, he still has a flat facial expression. "Why do you have to tell me about it? It has absolutely nothing to do with me. Talk to your manager and agency. Who knows, they have the best solution."

That's not what Celine wanted to hear. Therefore, she immediately pouts her lips annoyed as well as disappointed.

"Aish! It looks like I'll have to carry a lot of coats to survive there. I don't want to know. While you're there, you have to take care of me too!" ordered Celine.

"You are drunk!" Jayden snorted, aware that her attitude was getting ridiculous and far-fetched.

Celine put her face on the table. With a broken voice, she murmured, "I won't fall in love with you if that's what you're worried about. I swear to God that I won't fall in love with you!"

No one knows how long Jayden has stayed in his car that has been parked comfortably in the parking area of his house. The car's engine turned a while ago, but there has been no sign of him will get out.

His eyes stared at the peaceful face of Celine, who was asleep next to him.

It was a new thing for Jayden to learn that Celine's tolerance for alcohol was terrible. And after muttering before, she fell asleep right away. She was not moving, just like a dead woman.

"Hey, wake up. We have arrived home," Jayden whispered, patting Celine on the cheek, hoping she would soon be able to open her eyes.

Celine didn't seem bothered at all. Her eyes remained tightly closed, and her breath sounded so soft.

Knowing his efforts were in vain, he now switched to pinching Celine's hand. And when her forehead frowned, he immediately pulled his hand away.

No. It felt like pinching wasn't the best idea. It could have hurt her.

"What should I do? Did I leave her in the car with the engine running? After she wakes up, she must go straight to her room, right?" he murmured, unsure of his mind.

He breathed heavily. His finger moved against Celine's hair, which slightly covered her face.

Celine's face was still as red as before. And Jayden's car smells full of alcohol. The smells also made him dizzy from the start.

Before returning home earlier, Celine vomited on his shirt. That's what makes him pissed. The thing is, he doesn't have other clothes in the car. So, at the moment, he is shirtless. Also, he had thrown the shirt Celine had vomited earlier in the trash.

"There is no other way. I had to carry her to the room," Jayden decided.

And thus, he got out of his car with a half-naked body. As he entered the house, several housemaids there were shocked to see the appearance of their master.

"Mr. Jayden, what happened?"

Jayden stopped his steps and glanced at the housemaid. "Can you get lemon water in the kitchen? She got drunk and threw up on my shirt. Troublesome!"

Ruth was the one who reacted first. "Let me take it!"

Jayden nodded. "Then bring the lemon water to her room."

After that, Jayden continued his steps to Celine's room, not far from there. When he put her on the bed, her eyelids suddenly opened, and she blinked several times.

Jayden's heart was racing. His instincts told him that he should immediately move away. However, for some unknown reason, his body suddenly froze immobile for some time.

"Why aren't you wearing clothes?" asked Celine hoarsely.

Lub-dub!

Jayden doesn't know if Celine is conscious or not. Clearly, with his position on top of her body, it made him almost lose his mind!

After gaining control over his body, he hurriedly got up and explained it frantically, "You puked on my shirt! Don't think that I will do strange things to you!"

Right after saying that, he walked towards the exit door. "Soon, Ruth will come to bring you lemon water. Make sure you drink it!"

Ignoring the gazes of the housemaids in the living room, he galloped towards the second floor to his room.

Slam!

He leaned back behind the door with a face filled with sweat. He slaps his cheek as if trying to sober himself up.

"Shit! Why should I react like that?!" he grumbled.

As his hand lodged in front of his chest, he felt his heart beat five times faster than usual. A second later, he shook his head noisily. "No. It must be because I was exhausted from running to the second floor. Yeah. It's not because of that woman!"
