I Kicked You Out!

Celine opened her eyes when the sunlight fell on her face. The footsteps could be heard faintly from the window, revealing a middle-aged female figure opening a sizeable white curtain, letting sunlight lighten the previously dark room.

Overwhelmed by sleepiness, Celine blinked her eyes several times. A second later, Celine sat down and looked at Ruth, standing with her back to Celine, still busy smoothing the curtain to the side.

"It seems I woke up too late today, Auntie," Celine muttered in a hoarse voice. She yawned wide, unable to resist the drowsiness that was too comfortable to drive away.

The surprised Ruth instantly turned around to see Celine looking at her with an expressionless face. "Did I wake you up? I'm sorry, Miss."

Celine shook her head. She got out of bed a second later and walked to the nearest mirror, tidying up her pajamas and hair. She seemed to prepare before eating breakfast without the need to take a shower first. After all, it's already nine in the morning.

"I slept too late last night. Before I go to sleep, I drink milk. Now both of my cheeks look a little puffy."

Celine feels sad while combing her hair and applying a little lipstick on her lips so as not to look pale.

Ruth, who had just finished arranging the curtains, immediately walked over. There was an uneasy feeling inside her for having made Celine wake up to her rashness. "Does Miss want me to bring your breakfast here?"

After feeling pretty neat, Celine smiled contentedly at the reflection of her body in the mirror, sized 2×2 meters.

"No need. I'll go to the kitchen now. And also, can you tidy up the clothes in my closet? Last night, I accidentally ruffled it to find some of my favorite clothes."

Celine smiled shyly. Even now, the closet door was still half open, displaying a pile of clothes that were disheveled in no direction. Some are still neatly folded, others turn into round bundles like balls, up to those scattered on the floor.

Ruth turned her head toward the closet. A small laugh came from her lips as her eyes caught the mess. "I'll take care of it now. You can go to the kitchen and eat your breakfast, Miss. I've prepared a fruit salad in the fridge as your ordered last night."

Celine gave an OK sign using her finger. Without saying anything more, she quickly walked out of the room to her second favorite place in this house.

Celine had to pass through the living room, middle room, family hall, lounge room, and TV room to get there. Several housemaids greeted her when she passed them, Celine replied using a polite and friendly smile.

She looked confident walking in yellow pajamas. Also, she wears sandals with a mock duck head on the top.

After all, she always looks glamorous and luxurious in front of the camera. Even to set the style of her clothes, she has a personal stylist artist named Valerie. But who cares about her appearance if she is in a 'private place'?

If there are clothes that make her feel comfortable, she will wear them. So, it is no longer unusual for people in this house to see Celine wandering in pajamas or T-shirts because she feels more comfortable wearing simple clothes instead of a dress or even a fancy dress.

"Good Morning!" Celine chirped to Jayden there, eating a honey pancake while reading the newspaper.

He only wears a tight sleeveless black T-shirt on his body, framing the pectoral muscles that seem so stocky and sexy. In addition, he also wears long training pants. And if Celine can guess, it looks like he just finished taking a shower after his morning routine workout. The proof is his white hair still looks a little wet.

On the other hand, Jayden only glanced at Celine briefly before finally dropping his eyes again to the newspaper he had been reading. He didn't seem to want to see her face for long.

Celine sat across from Jayden after picking up her fruit salad from the fridge. There are pieces of apples, grapes, and bananas. Also, the most favorite is watermelon.

So, Celine first wanted a piece of watermelon, stabbing it with a fork and feeding it into her mouth. Her tongue was spoiling by the sweet and fresh taste when she chewed the fruit.

"What are you reading?" Celine asked, hoping that she could make some conversation with a man who was very serious about reading the newspaper.

After all, the dining table will not feel comfortable if it is surrounded by silence, right?

In front of her, Jayden was silent. His left hand holds a newspaper, while his right-hand cuts up pancakes.

Not getting a reply from him, Celine snorted irritably. Her eyes scanned his figure carelessly between her eating activities, intending to disturb him.

"Stop looking at me. I'm not a spectacle!" Jayden scolds without bothering to look at Celine. He knew that she was staring at him intensely.

The plan worked and made Celine smile obliquely. Her goal was to make Jayden feel uncomfortable. And that way, she can move to sit in a chair next to him.

"What are you doing?" Jayden was shocked by Celine's sudden actions. His green eyes stared intently at the movements of the woman four years younger than him, sitting next to his chair.

"What am I doing? I just wanted to talk to you. Is something wrong?"

Without hesitation, Jayden shifted his chair away from Celine.

Celine petted her chest while holding back her anger. Doesn't he know how much she thickens the skin of her face to act shamelessly like this?

And now, there is a distance of two meters stretched between them. Celine swore that even though she hadn't taken a bath, her body didn't smell bad! Jayden doesn't need to avoid her like that!

"When are you back to your home?" Jayden asked unexpectedly. The newspaper he had been reading had been folded and placed on the table. Also, the pancakes are gone.

The question is, how long did Celine daydream until she didn't realize that Jayden's chair and her chair were back a meter apart?! When did Jayden shift his chair closer?!

To mask her nervousness, Celine pushed her plate away. Among the many pieces of fruit left on the scale, only the presence of watermelon runs out.

"Why? You don't want me to stay here anymore?" confused, Celine was unable to work out the meaning of Jayden's question a few seconds ago.

At the same time, Ruth entered the kitchen area, cleaned Jayden's dishes, and washed them. As for Celine, she was still struggling with her thoughts after Jayden kept quiet and looked at her full of ridicule.

"Are you dumb or what? There are only three days left before we go to Arc City. Don't you want to hang out and spend time with your family? So, why are you still here? Don't tell me you won't say goodbye to them all?"

The confusion in Celine's head instantly enlightened. Her wrinkled forehead had now returned flat after understanding the meaning of Jayden's words.

After breaking eye contact with Jayden, Celine pulled back the plate she had pushed a moment ago. For some reason, she seemed to avoid making eye contact.

As her fork pierced the apple, she murmured, "What about you? Why didn't you see your parents? I see you're taking it easy too."

Jayden's facial expression deteriorated as soon as he realized that Celine had twisted his question deliberately.

He hated anyone who twisted his words, just like Celine did. Therefore, his blood boiled like magma.

"Get out of here and go back to your family. Spend the rest of your fucking time with them. And also pack your things out of my house. I kicked you out!"

Celine's body was bouncing in shock. She almost drew out the spirit in her body if she did not immediately regain her sanity.

Her feelings suddenly turned complicated. She is not offended that Jayden throws her out. But she feels sad that she doesn't have a family.

If she had it, even without being told, she would have left this house a week ago to gather with her family.

Mom? Dad? Brother? Auntie? Uncle? Grandpa? Grandma?

She doesn't have any of them. Hiller is the only person she has, even though they are not related by blood.

But they had met two days ago. And Hiller bluntly informed her that he would be assigned out of town for a month and could not take her to the airport because he left this morning.

"Don't you hear me?"

Celine raised her head which had bowed. She wants to be like everyone else who has a family. But ...

"My family is very busy, and unfortunately, they don't have time for me. Even if I went to visit my family's house, I'm pretty sure they weren't there. However, if you still want me to leave your house, It's okay. I'll pack my things now."

Right after saying that, Celine pushed her chair and stood up. She tried not to show a sad or disappointed face as much as possible. She understood and thanked Jayden for his good intentions. Therefore, instead of being sad, Celine chose a bright smile.

"Thank you for letting me stay here for almost a month and helping to improve my acting. I'll see you at the airport!"

Right after saying that, Celine left before being overtaken by Ruth, who also listened to their conversation earlier.

"I've never seen such a silly and stupid woman like her. Is she going to be my work partner for the next six months? Unbelievable!"
