Chapter 7: Her weakness

Days had passed swiftly, and Ana and Logan had gotten closer. The previous week, Logan had helped her clean and explained his reason for being late. He had a really bad headache during and after playing the match. He was going to freshen himself with a cold bath when he unexpectedly met her at the changing room's entrance, so he offered to help but when he got in, his headache kicked in, he couldn't wait to splash himself with cold water, so he only washed his head, neck, arms, and legs. Hence why he was late.

She didn't want to question him as she had a few doubts, she was more grateful to him for helping her out as the guy insisted to help, claiming he felt much better.

It was lunchtime, everyone had left the class except for Luke, he wasn't feeling like himself lately. Ana exploited his mind. A day didn't pass without him thinking about her, it was nothing special, he obviously just wanted to have a good taste of her and then leave her to waste. It's what he did.

But this feeling troubled him, he had known Ana all this time. The girl had been leading in class for all of their senior high school. Except in class or work, if the girl did not approach him the other day, he would have thought that she never talked to any human in school. Never in his wildest dreams could he ever think, Ana knew he existed. He never saw her in popular school clubs, class tours, boring summer camps, some students' summer beach houses, and other school events. The girl never spared a look at him or anyone. She lived in her own bubble. So that day he like boyishly acted like he didn't know her as an act of revenge. But the way she had looked at him bothered him, she was cute alright but too plain and boring. He hated boring stuff but he also hated how he was careful not to hurt her feelings, so he snapped and spewed those mean and hurtful words at her. She was so humiliated, embarrassed, and hurt but, she replied to all his questions, such a sweet angel, he felt like hugging and squeezing her so tight but his mixed feelings made him even angrier, so he further hurt her feelings to protect his feelings.

Seeing Ana leave with Logan for a lunch break today killed his appetite.

'Only whores moved on quickly like that,' he cursed and kept writing weird nothings in his notebook.

Moments later, Bianca peeked inside the classroom, and seeing Luke, she approached him.

"Hey you," she flapped her fake eyebrows that he nearly snorted. "It's rare to see you alone, everything alright?"

"What are you doing here?" He ignored her question.

"Caleb told me to look for you"

That jerk is good, he smirked. "Do you know why?" He asked.

She blushed, straightened her back, and flipped her hair, "yes."

"Good..." his eyes roamed her body, a good distraction from his uncontrolled thoughts of Ana. The mere thought of her made him hard, "come, kneel down."

She licked her lips and obliged, and all he could think was Ana doing things to him.

"Did I please you?" She smiled.

"You did fine." He flatly said. He was mad at Ana at that point, she had no right to drive him this stupidly crazy.

She stood and sat on his lap, "I could do more..." she was tracing her hands on his abdomen towards his chest.

He gently pushed her hands away, "later."

Ana finished her sandwich from her favorite spot. She left a little piece of meat for her cute friend. Once in a while, a black cat visited her under that tree during lunch breaks for a snack. She figured it lived around the school since it was almost always present during lunch breaks. She made a routine to carry snacks for it and named it black and it was a he and black. Today, she did not see it though, so she left the meat for it to find later.

She went straight to class, and unexpectedly her eyes met with Bianca sitting on Luke's lap. She awkwardly stood at the front near the door for a while wondering if she should go for her seat or get away from there. Thankfully a group of her classmates started entering, girls giggling at the sight, and moving their eyes from Luke to her. She frowned at their weird glances. She started moving to her seat, and at the corner of her eye, she saw Bianca whispering something to Luke and went for the door. On her way out, she coldly gazed at her.

She tilted her head, 'what was that about?' If anything, the girl had to fight with Scarlette, not her.

Before she exited, Caleb and his group entered, when he saw Bianca, he smirked and the girl blushed.

"Hey Luke, did you like my present?" He made sure the entire class heard but he got a scoff as a reply from Him.

Mark turned to look at Ana, "Hey Ana, are you and Logan a thing now?" She knew he was up to something so she ignored him. The class though turned its attention to her.

"I always thought she had no feelings." A girl named Percy loudly muttered.

A girl who looked like a tomboy sighed, "so she's got brains, a pretty face, cute dimples, Oh! I also saw her boobs one time in our third year, and boy are they plump and perfect, geez I thought about them for weeks, her body is so delicate and has curves in all the right places, I can tell even with her baggy clothes." Percy smacked the girl's hand,

"You're making her uncomfortable, Sam."

Ana's face was bright red from embarrassment and disbelief. These people had no ounce of shame. Everyone heard and waited for her to say something. She suddenly missed the years when she was invisible to everyone. Even though no one talked to her unless obliged, she was at peace and quiet with herself. Home, was instead, a place of chaos for her, Helping the kids with homework, cleaning the rooms, preparing meals and so much more. But now, everyone at school looked like were out to get her. All because she professed her feelings to Luke. She dreaded that day and it became her biggest nightmare. Only Logan was being kind to her. Although sometimes she doubted and wondered why Logan approached her now of all times he could have, she dismissed those doubts every time and felt like it was just a defense reaction from everything now happening to her.

"We're just friends." She whispered that only those near her heard.

Mark raised his eyebrow, "say what? Sorry didn't hear you."

Why did they care? They never deprived anyone else's privacy. These people finally found out her biggest weakness, she was a pushover.

"I said, we're just friends." Ana almost cried.
