Who are you?

Five years ago.

Ayato in his titan form broke through wall Maria and started to run far away from the Eldain's empire. When he got to the forest outside of the walls, he became exhausted.

He rested on one of the trees, looking at the road leading to the Eldian Empire from far away, then all of a sudden a girl approached him.

"Oh my, you've exhausted yourself," The lady said as she moved closer to it.

Ayato came out of the titan's neck and fell to the ground, completely weakened and exhausted, "Who are you?" Ayato whispered.

The lady carried Ayato on her back and took him to a small cottage, not one titan dared near her as she walked.

She placed him in the cottage and began to wipe up his body with the rage that was on the table.

Ayato woke up and found himself lying on the field shirtless, "Where am I?" He asked himself.

He kept walking until he got to a place where he saw a group of Titans, they were all just walking in circles.

"Damn it, Why are they stationed like that?" Right in the middle of the titan was a boy in his beast titan form, brewing tea.

Ayato wanted to sneak away but ended up resting on a stone that had no balance.

The stone fell down the hill making a very loud echo, rock crumbled to the ground with a loud impact.

"Shit!"

"Is someone there?" The boy asked as he got to his feet, when he heard no response, he took it as if an enemy was spying on him.

So he took the closest biggest rock he could find and crushed it into pieces before projecting it towards Ayato's position.

The scattered rocks destroyed everything it came in contact with, "Damn it, I have no choice" Ayato thought to himself as he ran.

He knew if the boy should throw another one of those rocks, he would definitely die from it, so he snapped his neck and transformed into a titan.

He landed right in front of the boy before giving out a loud roar as lightning networked itself around his body.

The present….

Eren woke up and found himself in jail, and right at the other side of the steel iron were Commander Elvin, Captain Levi, and Ava.

"I don't know what you are doing here?" Levi asked, looking at Ava.

"Awn Levi, you can learn to mind your business every once in a while," She replied.

"Tsk! You've gotten so damn cocky, haven't you?" Levi said.

"I have to. I mean I am the highest ranking soldier ain't I?" She smiled.

"Excuse me, why am I locked up in here?" Eren asked.

"You are in the Military police base, we were able to convince them to let us see you* Erwin said he was sitting on a wooden chair while Levi and Ava stood beside him.

Ayato was still unconscious in the cell, "Oh I see" Eren noticed that the key his father gave him wasn't with him anymore, "Where?"

Erwin brought out the key, wiggling it in the air, "is this what you're looking for? If I understood your friend well, this would unlock some kind of secret at your home in Shiganshina, correct?" Erwin asked.

"Yes sir, My father gave it to me, he said it has the secret to the titans" Eren replied.

"I see, what are your intentions?" Erwin asked.

"What do you mean?"

"Over the years we've experienced, titan appearing out of nowhere in the city of Shiganshina, the Armored titan broke the wall of Trost, it would be safe to say they have the same powers you have"

"They? You think we have…

"We have an enemy in our midst. Just a few hours ago, one of my soldiers told me about a death that piqued my interest.

This particular soldier's head was slit clean through, something a titan couldn't do, it was caused by a blade, and a skilled blade user at that? Which brings me back to my question, what are your intentions? "....

"To help humanity restore their freedom, sir." Eren replied, "We have a traitor, I didn't think we could have one, I always thought titans were," Eren thought to himself.

"I have an offer for you and your squad mate, would you like to join the special unit scout regiment? The survey corps?"Erwin asked.

After the questioning, Eren and Ayato were set free, but just for a little while, they were immediately sent to trial, to meet king Karl fritz.

Ayato and Eren's hands were chained as they knelt in the middle of the court, Most of their friends and commander were there, each picking a side of their own.

"I say we dispose of them now, we don't want a repeat of Wall rose to happen, here again, My lord" One of the priests opposing them spoke up.

"Enough let's hear what they have to say" The king stopped the babbling.

"Are these guys kidding, after helping them seal the wall with frost, they still don't trust us?" Eren turned to Ayato only to see him with a shocking fear on his face.

Ayato was hearing the voice of titans speaking inside his head.

"What are you waiting for?"

"You know the outcome, you know our enemies, take them out, why are you hesitating"

"It's only a matter of time before they strike back, you know how the betrayal works, humans are not to be trusted."

"Do it! Do it"

While everyone was arguing with themselves, the loud bang that Ayato made when he got his head on the iron calmed the moment.

Blood spilled down his head, Even Levi was shocked and he was standing right beside him.

Mikasa was ready to hop out of where she was to go check on him, but Armin stopped her because he knew exactly what would happen to her if she did.

Ayato stood to his feet, looking the king in the eye, "If I were to turn into a titan, right now, What are the chances that I won't escape without a crash on me?".
