Before the trail…

"Or rather let me ask you, what do you wanna do?" Commander Erwin asked

With an awkward grin on his face, Eren answered, "I want to join the survey corps and kill every last titan that crosses my path," Eren said.

Levi smirked before walking towards his cell, "I see, okay then, I'll look after this one, not because I trust him, but because I trust I can handle him".

They both left, but before they did, Commander Erwin told them about their trial with the kind and how that should be ready for the worse.

"Excuse me, I gotta pee," Eren asked one of the guards that were guarding his cell.

"You're not going anywhere" The guard gave Eren a disgusted look.

"Don't bother, their hatred is far gone, one reason why ripping their heads won't make me feel any less guilty" Ayato said, purposefully yelling out the last part of his sentence.

"What did you say, you brat? '' The soldier yelled, before he could continue a female cedar walked in and slammed her head on the cell with her eyes fixated on Ayato and Eren.

"Hello there, hope we are being good boys" Hange uttered, "Lucky you, you can finally leave this cell, but you are going to have to put this on" She threw handcuffs inside the cage.

They were on their way to the trial, "My name is Zoe Hange, I am a Section commander".

One of the commanders held Eren's shoulder and began sniffing it, "And that is section Commander jerkins, he tends to smell new people, he means no insult by the grin though" Hange laughed.

"Ayato!"

They all turned to see Ava running towards them from the end of the room, Hange immediately grabbed the two and tossed them inside the courtroom.

"You did that on purpose," Ava uttered with a stern look on her face.

"Who knows."

Armin and Mikasa were at the base having lunch, "I heard, they wanna put both Eren and Ayato through a trail" Armin said as he kept stirring his food.

Mikasa with a cold look on her face, "Like I'd let that happen" She kept eating her food.

"I wonder if you saw this coming, Yato" Armin thought to himself.

Two Mp(Military police) walked into the room with a sheet of paper with them, "Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert, you both are requested to join the trial." The Mp reported.

.....

Present

"Shit, what the hell am I doing? I'm only making matters worse" He looked around and saw the hateful stares he was getting.

Ayato then spotted Armin giving him the go back to your knees stare, Ayato quickly went back to his knees, "I apologize for my sudden outburst."

"Hmmm…" The king grunted, He got to his feet and left the room, but as he left the judge walked in sitting on the higher chair.

"This trial is to decide the fate of Cadet Eren Yeager and the commoner Ayato Shikamaru," The judge said, "I will decide if you will be handed over to the scout's regiment, or the Military police, in other words, I decide whether you die or live".

"Now, let's hear the Military police's thoughts on the matter", The judge said.

"My name is Sermon Neilson, the commander of the military police, although it is true that thanks to their help we were able to take back the Trost district". He said, holding a piece of paper that he read from.

"But that doesn't mean it is safe, having a titan by our side, will cause distress to the people, which could lead to rebellion, I say we end them as warriors of humanity".

"Is this guy kidding me?" Eren thought to himself.

"Okay, and the scout regiment" The judge looked in Commander Erwin's way.

" We let them join with the scout's regiment, as they could help in taking back Shiganshina district.

We plan to scout outside the wall in One month, and I believe their power will prove very useful." Commander Erwin said.

"Is that all?"

"Yes "

"And how exactly do you plan on taking back the district, considering that Wall rose is not yet in…"

"We take a detour, take the route from karensee to Shiganshina," Erwin said.

"Are you insane, why waste money on such stupid tasks, instead we should try rebuilding the walls the titans can break and reinforce" One of the merchant sidings with the Mp said.

"And how do we do that, oh so wise pig, with the titan tailing our asses, and when you say waste expenses, do you speak for everyone or only you and your fat pig Merchants.

You don't know how people like us have to struggle just to get by, so I don't think pigs of your type should be speaking here." Levi said, resting his back on the wall.

"I'm just saying, building the wall…"

"The wall is a gift from God, don't mess with it, you filthy human" One of the priests in the Mo section yelled.

"Let me ask you two, Can we trust that you will fight on humanity's behalf?" The judge asked and Eren immediately replied.

"Yes"

"How many times have I seen this scene, they don't care," Ayato thought to himself, not uttering a single word.

"But the report contradicts that, it says you attack Mikasa Ackerman right after transforming into a titan, am I correct Ackerman?" The judge asked.

"No way, I attacked her?"

"Say the truth, his life is riding on this," Rebecca who was standing beside her whispered to her, she was the one who wrote the report considering she was the second in command of the Garrison regiment squad.

"Yes sir, all that is true"

They all started talking above each other, saying hateful things, Ayato just knelt, staring at the ground and not saying a word.

"But he has also saved lives before, first was when he helped my squad mates, and second was when he instinctively saved Armin Arlert from a titan, I beg that you put these facts into consideration" She responded.

"True, but I sense favoritism from her say, after doing our research we learned that she was abducted by the Yeager family, after both Her and Eren Yeager brutally stabbed a group of bandits to death.

Mind you it was out of self-defense, but one couldn't help but question the violent nature of these kids."

"Maybe she's a monster, a titan like him" One of the Merchant pointed at Mikasa.

"We should kill her too, just to be safe"
