Chapter 6: Where's Samarah?

KENDALL 'S POV -

I saw Miranda walk back without being accompanied by Damon. I was a little confused. I went over to her, standing at a few paces in the corridor, watched earnestly by a thousand eyes.

Quickly I whispered in her ears," Where's Damon?" Miranda replied with as less lip movement as possible," Samarah's missing, Damon went to find her."

" Fudge!", I growled inside but smiled brightly outside as I announced," The Goddess in flesh stands before you."

I couldn't grasp whether they were too stunned or didn't believe Miranda to be a true a goddess but none of them bowed to her.

Miranda stood awkwardly for a minute looking at the crowd.

The similar disobedient voice rang out," Are you the actual goddess?"

" You imbecile! Learn how to address your God first. Do you want destruction to be brought upon you?" ,bellowed Miranda in fury. I was utterly stunned at her sudden wrath. Was she acting or something?

" Bow officials to our saviour.", as each one of them obliged my command and bowed low to her.

" You don't take me as your Goddess yet .. do you?", Miranda asked in a sarcastic tone.

" Explains why you thought killing a Goddess would be easy.", She concluded. I got concerned at the words she chose to spoke. She seemed more like a punisher and less like a being of light right now. Even the elders paled at her words.

I tried to give her 'the what the hell are you doing' look but her eyes seemed ablaze and she didn't even look at me.

"Even now you try to harm one of my own whom you thought to be me. I shall make sure the wrong doers suffer.", a heavy voice broke out from Luce Mia and immediately the ground began to tremble and suddenly a blinding light

filled the entire room.
