I opened the door and went upstairs just to have Jake pull me into the institute. "Why are you pulling me like a child?" I shouted.
“BECAUSE you look like a child. How many times can I tell you not to go out of the city alone? ” He asked.
“Well, lets see ... I have a lot of predictions. You're not listening to me either! I was almost eighteen, and I could definitely take care of myself. You should know that, you trained me."
“You are under my roof and will follow my rules! Do you understand? I told you, you can’t go out at night after midnight! Oh and don’t think I can’t smell alcohol! ” He shouted at me.
"Good!" I walked away from him as I went up the stairs and closed my bedroom door. I am almost a prisoner in this house! I don’t have time for myself, and I’m sure I don’t have a normal life. Even other shadow-hunter teenagers don’t have such strict rules on them. They are free to do what they want often. But for me, don't you know?
