Zein was a rogue Guide living in the god-forsaken land of the red-zone, guiding for money and survival. Until the guild he used to work with caused a tragedy. Driven by sorrow and guilt, Zein became a mercenary guide in the land bordering the forbidden Deathzone, working like a suicidal monk. One day, an overbearing Esper suddenly appeared and told him, “If you’re so hellbent to die, why don’t you come with me to the Deathzone?”

A strange proposition, a nostalgic smirk. Had Zein actually met him before? 

Following the man into the deadly zone, will Zein find the respite he seeks, or will he get engulfed in a storm?

There’s No Love In the Deathzone (BL)

Twenty-four years after the first Deathzone was successfully reclaimed, the Northern Alliance finally announced their plan to have their own reclamation project--faster than the Western Republic.

"Really?" Kar's eyes widened. It was something he had been setting his eyes on the moment he knew what his fathers did in the past, what his home used to look like.

"Next year will be the twenty-fifth year since we got back Far East District," Bassena explained. "They'll launch the reclamation then."

"Their project is spearheaded by the government and the Temple of Freyja instead of getting auctioned to the guilds. They are sending out invitations to as much as high-rankers as they can afford," Bassena smirked. "Including the Saint classes."
