Apocalypse Worlds

As the monster in gray points to my little brother, I think what should I do. Me and my brother never had the best relationship. Anyway, my name is Jaden. I am 14 years old and am around five seven feet tall. Am pretty good at sports and good academically too.


"!!! Please leave us alone!!!" My Dad shouts.


As the gray figure turns its head to my parents and said in a demonic voice 


"A PRICE MUST BE MADE FOR GOING TO ANOTHER WORLD."


Then my brother gets covered with a gray liquid that spreads like slime. As he yells for help, I did nothing, nothing at all. It was like my body would not move, no matter how hard I tried. Then in the blink of an eye he is gone and the figure as well. 


As I really realize what had happened, it was too late. I started to yell, and by the time I knew it, tears started to stream down my cheeks.


As I am in the gray liquid in the blink of the eye. I now see a portal. The gray figure points and said, 


"What do you mean by wanting "him" back when I don't look nothing like you?"


"YOUR PARENTS MADE A DEAL. THAT WE WOULD LET THEM GO TO EARTH IF THEY GAVE YOU TO US. THEY LIED AND TOOK YOU WITH THEM. WELL GO IN THE PORTAL IT WELL ONLY BE OPEN FOR 30  MORE SECONDS."


As I think about my memories, friends, and family, I become sad. I felt a pain In my heart realizing I won't see them ever again.
