New world

As I am going through the portal. I see stars and galaxies. Then after 30 seconds I come to a stop. I see a world that looks like earth but different. Then I start to close in coming closer and closer. Until I am coming down like a meteorite. I lose consciousness as I hear a load noise from me landing.

"Hey brother look something just came from the sky."

As I point to the Area we're the smoke was coming from. I continue to speak

"Do you want to go over and see was up."

"I don't know Sammy Mom said we shouldn't."

"Aw come on it will be fun."

"Okay sure." My brother says with a bit of hesitation in his voice.

As I start to regain my consciences. I see a trail of smoke. I started to try and stand up and succeed. I felt very sore like when you workout for the first time and push yourself to hard. I take a look at my surroundings and I am in a forest and the sun shines. I tried to remember what happened but couldn't. As I was thinking I hear foot steps so I hide behind a tree.

"Brother the smoke was right here." As the girl was looking around.

"Can you at least call me my name."

"Sure Nicholas." As the girl felt uncomfortable calling him that.

"Hey Sammy you should use your sensor ability." Sammy nods.

She than puts her hands together and a light comes from her hands. Then the light expands and scans the area.

"There." As she points to the tree I am behind.

Nicholas then runs in my direction. I try to run but fall I land on my face and feel blood running down my noise. Then I feel something hitting the back of my neck and my vision goes black.

Memories of what had happened last night flood my head. The screams of my parents and sister. The creature that was gray there to. I then wake up in a cold sweat.

"I see your awake" said a girl that sounded around the same age as me.

I look at her and I think her name was Sammy. But I could be wrong because I suck at remembering names.

I asked "we're am I and why did that guy knock me out. "As I check the back of my head to check if there were any injuries.

"There shouldn't be any injuries we used some healing magic." As the girl smile's. "And we're you are well not sure if you could tell but you are in jail."

"What do you mean by magic." Then her weapon in her scabbard that was the shape of a dagger began to glow.

She then asked " hey what is your ability."

I tilted my head in confusion because I just asked how stuff works around here.

I asked "what do you mean by that."

"WWWWHHHAAATTT!!! Your don't know what magic is! She then burst out laughing.

"Hey was so funny" I asked when my face was red from embarrassment.

As she wipes the tears off her face and saids. "Wait you aren't joking." And laughs even more.
