Klaus Mikaelson fell down as the pain got intense, he screamed. His eyes were closing.
"Caroline….."
He was unconscious. Dahlia dragged his body to a small cabin nearby. His sister, Rebekah, was already there. Unconscious and graying. Dahlia smiled.
"Two Originals down and two more to go."
She had already killed Finn in trying to keep herself awake. She figured out a way that if she used the power of more original vampires all together, she would live eternally as would they.
She smiled as she sat down in a chair.
Caroline was angry. Hurt. No wonder they all turned out to be monsters! Backstabbing each other! One stole his child. One sold him to the evil witch. What was wrong with them?
She walked to the Mikaelson Compound for one more try. Just one more. In hopes of helping him.
"Hello?" She came inside. "Elijah?"
Elijah Mikaelson stood at the gates.
"Caroline, what are you doing here?" He said softly. "Again?"
"Yess.." She told him, "I have to tell you something. Your brother is in so much trouble with a witch."
"A witch?"
"Yes." Caroline nodded, "Someone your sister Freya knows. In fact, she's the one who threw him there."
"What witch?" Elijah asked. "What?"
"I suggest you do something!" Caroline told him, "Because, my daughters are on the other side of the country and I can't bring them to help him."
"Why are you back again?"
Hayley heard her from inside the house.
"Don't you get it!" She almost shouted. "I finally got the perfect family!"
"Hayley…." Caroline tried to tell her something.
"I am never telling her….."
"Hay…."
".....That Elijah is not her father!" Hayley shouted. "And Klaus is!"
Caroline wanted to tell Hayley that Hope Mikaelson was standing right behind her.
"What?" Ten year old Hope Mikaelson came towards them. "What did you just say?"
"Hope…Sweetie." Hayley tried to talk.
Elijah looked at her. The look on his niece's face was purely Klaus. The anger. It wasn't the father who was betrayed. So was the daughter.
"Hope!" Hayley said.
Hope's look, her eyes, her expression made Hayley want to die. She hated her. Her daughter hated her.
"That….man." Hope whispered hoarsely. "The one who came with Mrs. Salvatore is my...…..father?"
"Hope…"
"And, you!" She turned towards Elijah. "You lied to me!"
"Ho…"
"You are a liar!" She shouted. "He came to see me and you turned him away!"
"Just listen to me!" Hayley was in tears.
"So, you can lie to me more!" Hope shouted. "She brought him back in my life and you…both of you…"
She was so angry that she couldn't even finish her sentence.
"She lied!" Hayley told her, "Caroline is a liar! He in not your fa…"
"Oh, stop it!" Hope walked towards Caroline, "Mrs. Salvatore never lies."
She looked at her,
"Why didn't you tell me?" She asked Caroline. "You knew …."
"I did know." Caroline told her, "But, it wasn't my place to tell you anything."
"He's in trouble, isn't he?"
Caroline hadn't yet said anything about Klaus being in trouble, not to Hope. Maybe, she just saw it in Caroline's eyes. Like father, like daughter, they could always tell that Caroline was worried.
"Take me to him." Hope said.
"No…" Hayley interrupted. "You can't.."
"Take me, please!" She wasn't listening to Hayley. "I can help him! You know that."
"Hope! Listen to your mother!" Elijah intervened for the first time.
"If she really is my mother!" Hope retorted.
Like father,
She was lied to about her father.
Like daughter,
He was lied to about his father.
"You can take me, Mrs. Salvatore." She told her teacher firmly. "Because even if you don't, a simple locator spell will get me there."
"I'll take you." Caroline told her.
"Caroline!"
"She's going there with or without me.": Caroline told her shortly, "And Klaus would want me with her."
