Hello to all those reading and thank you for taking the time to check out my series. This is my first story that I'm posting online and I am serious about writing Vampire Legacy to be the best it can be. Though I do need to make clear that the first 100-200 chapters will be a mix of comedy and serious arcs. This will be a fantasy action story just as much as a comedy/slice of life story until the true plot kicks in. I plan to go all in with the comedy, then when we get to a certain turning point, the breaks will not stop with 13 long continuous serious arcs that will go until the finale. This novel will definitely be at least 500 chapters. I hope you all stay and see what I have to offer.

Vampires Legacy

'I revealed my awesome transformation for nothing.'

Shoyo teleported back to the destroyed Hunter Academy where he found Ariel.

"I saw the beacon from Akutenshi's transformation and rushed here. Where did you go?!"

"Nah. Our next fight will be the last."

"I'm surprised you're still alive."

"Thanks, I guess. When did it start raining?"

"It was already pouring when I got here."

The ominous weather doesn't sit right with Shoyo, there's even lightning and thunder which seems out of nowhere. That's when it strikes him.

"This might be that one Slayers' power. Patrick said her name was Ame. You don't know her, do you?"

"We're going to one of the Academy's evacuation points. The students are being guarded, but I still have a bad feeling about this." 'The evacuation routes and exits are confidential, they shouldn't have been found. Unless…'

With that thought, Shoyo and Ariel teleport. What they came upon was a gruesome sight.

The news went out instantly, the students of the Hunter Academy had been attacked. One Special Rank Hunter, 34 1st Rank Hunters, and 28 students lost their lives. The other two Special Rank Hunters, several 1st Rank Hunters, and 397 students were injured. Even knowing they were being targeted, they couldn't fend off the vampires without there being casualties. Ame and her fangs who let the attack lived, while over 500 vampires under her were wiped out. Nonetheless, this was a complete loss for the Hunters. The public has been shaming them all night and questioning their integrity, allowing the vampires to succeed in an attack on their Academy which they had prepared for. The President has been forced into a press conference to address the incident. But first, a meeting of the Special-Rank Hunters.

"Why is the guy who can teleport the last one here?"

"Be patient, Benny. I'm sure the Strongest Hunter has something more important to see to right now. Isn't that right, Ina? You guys are close, aren't you?"

"What's she even doing here? She can't even fight right now. Hasn't been able to for the past few years."

"Let's just get started. Almost everyone here has disappointed me. I put out an order for 6 Special-Rank Hunters to meet at the Hunter Academy to protect the students. Only Leonidas, Remi, and Ricardo cared enough to go, and one of them is dead. When you lot were actually needed, you were a no-show. Let's talk about that first. Donovan, what's your excuse?

Donovan is apart of the Boreas Family and is the oldest Hunter currently on duty.

"What about you, same as your father?"

"And it's obviously the same for everyone else. YOU'RE HUNTERS!! WHAT EXCUSE COULD YOU HAVE FOR NOT DOING YOUR JOB?!"

This is the first the President has shown his genuine anger since being appointed to the position.

After a few moments of awkward silence, the door slowly creaks open.

The last Special-Rank Hunter arrives, with a student of the Hunter Academy.
