The Special Rank Hunters Part 2

"You're late Shoyo, why did you bring a student?"

"Sorry prez, but he's no ordinary student."

The student in question steps up in front of Shoyo and introduces himself.

"My name is Noah Ibrahim. I was born here, but I'm not from here."

"…..?"

The Special Rank Hunters look at this boy with confused faces, wondering what could he possibly say that's important enough that Shoyo brought him to a meeting involving the strongest people in Shioto.

"I am a vampire from the Alter World that was reincarnated as the son of a human and a vampire, making me half-blood. The same as Chifuyu Kyotani."

"What?!"

"What was that?!"

"Did he say reincarnated?"

The Hunters break out in shock. Even the ones who usually wouldn't show much surprise such as Ina, Amelia, and a couple of others are visibly taken aback.

Donovan reiterates what he said, "A vampire reincarnated as a half-vampire? Putting aside the reincarnated bit, the intel we got from that Slayer was true after all. There have been vampires living among us."

Noah adds to his previous statement, "Yes. I was a Vampire Lord as well. On top of that, I still have the same curse I had in my previous life."

"Hold on. How can we even believe what this guy is saying? Can you prove it?" Arthur interjects.

"I can only prove that I have vampire blood running through me."

Noah's eyes change to red as the rest of his vampiric features rise forth. 

The President is the most dumbfounded out of everybody. "Shoyo, how did you find Noah?"

"I didn't. He approached me when I got to the North Academy evacuation area. I was just as shocked as you are."

"This is going too fast. But you have something even more important to say, don't you?" The Hunter named Dwayne says what everyone in the room is thinking.

"Correct. My curse allows me to create my own ravens and share their vision. When I found out I was able to use my curse, I started using it to monitor the Alter World. I've been doing this for the past decade."

"And you've been drinking the blood of your parents to do so?"

"Yes, but they do not know my true identity. I hope you won't bother them with any questions. My father has never harmed a human in his life."

"We can't believe that."

"Stop Arthur. We have no choice but to trust in his words. Isn't that right, Shoyo?" The President states.

"Yeah, I believe him. Ariel was the first case, the timing of more vampires joining our side isn't odd at all. But he's still yet to say why he's revealed himself."

They can all guess why.

"Three Vampire Lords of the Alter World will lead an attack on Shioto around six months from now. Including the number of vampires currently on Shioto, their army will number over 800,000."

"My God."

"The time is finally upon us. And that isn't even their full force?"

"No. Their full force is around three times that. The reason they're not launching a full-scale attack is because they're still fighting the humans over there. They have one condition they must meet in order to attack Shioto, and that's to conquer the second-to-last human kingdom in the Alter World. I've been observing them for the past 10 years and by my estimations, they'll only last half a year longer."

The Hunters don't have the time to decide whether this person is lying or not. If he's telling the truth, then they will be at war that will decide their fates much sooner than they expected. 

"So it's just a guess?" One of the Hunters asks.

"Yes. But you needn't worry about them attacking suddenly. I will give reports each day. As for now, I can give the names and abilities of all the Vampire Lords."

"There's two empty spots that need to be filled in the Special Rank. We won't be at full power without them."

"Technically just one since for some reason nobody has been able to draw out the power of Ina's alter blade."

"We have a lot to discuss. But we have an upcoming press conference, so let's worry about that first."

The Hunters begin gossiping amongst themselves, but Shoyo is deep in thought.

'I can't tell Chifuyu and the others that a war is coming yet. They need to enjoy the Golden Festival without worry.'
