Chapter 43

Lilith's mom sighed and wiped her tears with her handkerchief and said "He was arrested for embezzlement and fraud, unfortunately, the company he made attempts to embezzle from is the current number one legit running company in the world, they sued him and he's behind bars" Lilith thought he deserved it and that company sure did a good job.

It didn't take her long to get a job in one of the biggest companies in the United States, Lilith and her mom decided to sell their mansion in England and move down to the USA and start a new life.

Right now she's back to square one. Uriel felt pity for the poor lady who got fired, she turned to Clyde and said "poor girl, don't you think she'll try to get revenge?...I mean we have to look at every possibility" Clyde smiled and said "if she's who we think she is then there's nothing to worry about... However, if she isn't and your assumptions are correct then there's also nothing to worry about because she'll find nothing". They rounded up their work for the day and went home. Clyde's plan was still in it's first stage and the the second stage of his plan will commence with immediate effect.

The following week, Lilith was ready for her interview and she arrived on time and when it was her turn she stepped into the office and they asked " please tell us your name and what makes you think you're suitable for this job?" she smiled and said "my name is Marcus Lilith and.." they interrupted her and the first interviewer said "Excuse me, did you say your name is Marcus Lilith?" Lilith frowned a bit and said "Yes, is there any problem?" The interviewer removed his glasses and said "Apparently there is...I'm sorry but I don't think we can allow you to proceed with this interview, talk more of giving you this job" . Lilith scoffed and said "why is that? you don't even know me" The second interviewer laughed and said "everyone in the business world knows you especially in the high sector, news spread fast" Somewhere deep down in her guts Lilith knew that whatever was going on in her life right now the business king was influencing it, manipulating the scenes from the backstage and vividly showing it, what does this person want from her??.

When she arrived home she saw some men talking to her mom, she approached them and they asked "Are you miss Lilith Marcus?" she replied "yes". They looked at each other and said " Ma'am the bank is taking your house"...
