She left the company and rain trickled down her face and she entered her car, she closed her eyes and started the engines as memories of her past came flashing back.

Lilith was born in England into the Marcus family as the only child of her parents who were multimillionaires, he father owned a company and his business was doing unusually well, Lilith saw stock exchange, pie charts and documents as something really fun so she took a liking to business and her father said when she's old enough she was going to take over his business. However things took a wild turn when she turned 16, Lilith was going through her dad's files and found out that her dad's business wasn't having any root and she didn't get why. How could his business grow over a short period of time? She asked herself and she began to trace it down and later on figured out that he was involved in embezzlement and fraud. There's no way she was going to inherit something that came from bad money. Later that day she confronted her dad and interrogated him based on her findings. Mr Marcus sighed and said "Listen peanut, All that matters is that you have to rise to the top no matter what, it doesn't matter how you get the position... If I cared about how I got my wealth then we won't be the number one and you're going to inherit my company as my only child". Lilith felt disgusted with what her father said and retorted " then if that's the case, I don't want anything to do with your company and your money" Mr Marcus felt infuriated said "You have no idea what it took me to make it to the number one, you're just a stupid little girl and you know nothing. you must inherit my company whether you like it or not". Her dad has never yelled at her before and she went into her room and locked herself in.

The next day, she acted as though nothing happened the previous day but she made sure that she didn't have anything to do with her dad or his company ever again. It was like they were strangers living under the same roof. The following year she graduated from high school as a straight-A student.

She got an admission to study at Harvard business school under a full time scholarship, she stayed at her aunt's place in the USA and after four years in the tertiary institution, she graduated with honors and got her bachelor degree in business.

It was finally time to go home and after all these years of cutting herself from her family, She returned to England and when she arrived, she looked at the home she grew up in and memories came flooding back. she pressed the door bell and their butler, Mr Kevlar opened the door and bowed while making way for her go come in, she sat on the cushion and her mom while coming down the stairs elegantly said "Kevlar who's at the..." when her mom saw her, her hands flew to her mouth and tears streamed down her and she ran and hugged her daughter. Lilith smiled and when she couldn't see her dad anywhere, she took the initiative to ask "where's dad?"...
