444. A Kiss

Jael glared at Mill as Mauve jumped off him when she realized they weren't alone. He would have thought Mill was on his side but it was obvious she was picking Mauve over her Primus.

Mill turned her gaze away from him and gave him a bow. He wasn't particularly pissed, he just wished she had waited a couple more seconds before alerting Mauve of her presence.

He moved his gaze to Mauve. Her bed hair was adorable and even though she had her back to him, he could still see the redness on the side of her neck.

He blinked and ran his tongue over his fangs. He would be lying if he said he didn't want a drink. It was all he could think about.

It was taking everything to hold himself back and it wasn't just feeding but he didn't want to put her body through more stress.

He watched her move away from him and closer to Mill. Without turning around she said, "Could you excuse us for a few minutes, I'd like to change?"
