That seems to be the case…

Ivan suddenly realised this and looked at Hermione with a strange expression.

So what exactly was going on, and if Professor Trelawney's prediction was true, would Hermione try to commit murder?

Or is Hermione in danger this year?

Yvonne gave Hermione a worried look.

Hermione rolled her eyes at Ivan. She didn't believe a word of Professor Trelawney's nonsense!

Even so, the young witch continued to rummage through the pages of Unfogging the Future, trying to find evidence to refute Professor Trelawney's prediction…

[Ding, after a period of study, your Divination proficiency has increased… Current progress (3/100) level 0]

When class was about to end, a system prompt sounded in Ivan's head.

Divination?

Ivan was stunned and pleasantly surprised. He had come to this Divination class solely for his GPA, and had not expected to be taught Divination.

However, when Ivan opened the system, he found out that the Divination he had been taught was not really a spell, but was listed in the Knowledge Theory section, and he had no idea how to use it.

Observe the shape of the tea leaves?

Yvonne tried to examine her teacup for signs, but couldn't find any…

Professor Trelawney, on the other hand, delivered ominous prophecies to more young wizards throughout the course, especially when it came to Harry.

Even after class, Harry was troubled and Ron tried to calm him down by telling him to learn from Ivan.

Professor Trelawney's prophecies of Ivan were far more terrifying than his own…with words like "kill" and "hell" appearing…

Harry turned to look at Ivan, only to find that he and Hermione were nowhere to be found.

"Weird, what about them? Ron, did you see them? Transfiguration class is coming up…" Harry asked curiously.

"How should I know?" Ron shook his head. "Let's just go to the classroom. It's Professor McGonagall's class later, they can't possibly not come!"

Meanwhile, Yvonne and Hermione were on their way back to their Muggle Studies class, two hours before the Time-Turner.

Hermione fumbled in the neckline of her robe and soon pulled out a long, thin gold chain.

"Come closer! We have to put these on together! The chain might not be long enough…" Hermione said, looking at Ivan.

Ivan nodded and took a few steps forward.

Hermione pulled the gold chain and hung it around Ivan's neck, so close that they could hear each other breathing.

"You take care of it!" Hermione said, handing Ivan the Time-Turner.

Ivan holds it in his left hand and turns the hourglass on the timer with his right…

One lap…two laps…

As the hourglass began to turn, Ivan felt the world around him blur. Everything seemed to be moving backwards at breakneck speed. In the centre, he was suspended in the air, isolated from the rest of the world.

Fortunately, Ivan could still feel Hermione's presence, which made him feel a little better…

Moments later, Ivan noticed that the changes seemed to have stopped, and his feet felt as if they were on solid ground.

Was it over? Was it only two hours ago?

Ivan looked around and saw that the roof was still the same, but the angle of the shadows had changed.

"Come on, let's go take a look!" Ivan suggested as he removed the gold chain from around his neck for Hermione to put away.

Hermione nodded, and the two of them left the rooftop and headed for Muggle Studies.

Along the way, the two of them sneaked around the crowd.

"It's better if we act naturally. We won't be noticed." Ivan shook his head, suddenly feeling like a thief.

"But Professor Dumbledore told us to avoid them," Hermione said hesitantly.

"It's just to avoid them finding out there were two of us at the same time and causing unnecessary trouble," Yvonne guessed.

Since they were going to class, they were bound to be seen by the students and professors in the same classroom.

Hiding like this leads to suspicion…

Hermione quickly thought of this and composed herself, but as she was passing through the tower, she suddenly tugged Ivan's sleeve and pointed to the stairs.

Yvonne looked down curiously and saw the other Hermione and herself climbing up the ladder. Yvonne then realized that she had just come out of the Headmaster's office and was heading for her Divination class.

"It's, like, weird, seeing your other self in the flesh…" Ivan felt awkward. He wondered if there were two systems running at the same time, and how he would judge if he had now completed a system task.

"Ivan, we'd better figure out how to get out of the way!" Hermione said urgently. The first rule of using the Time-Turner was to be seen.

Dumbledore did not tell her what would happen if she saw it, but nothing good would come of it…

"Don't worry, can't you just use the Disillusionment Charm?" Ivan pulled out his wand and tapped it against his chest, enveloping himself in magic and disappearing from Hermione's sight.

Ivan then cast a Disillusionment Charm on Hermione and pulled her as close to the wall as possible.

"Be careful and hold your breath!" Ivan warned.

Although it had the invisibility effect of the Disillusionment Charm, it was still only a spell, unlike the Deathly Hallows, the Invisibility Cloak, which had the ability to insulate one's presence.

Hermione covered her mouth and carefully followed Ivan, not daring to make a sound.

Yvonne walked over slowly. They had tried to walk as quietly as possible, but the stairs still made a slight noise.

Ivan frowned. This would not do. He was absolutely certain that he had not heard anything amiss on the way upstairs.

Two hours ago, he would have sensed that something was wrong.

As they drew closer to each other, Ivan wondered if he should stop and wait for her to pass, but at the same time wondered if the past really could not be changed…

What would happen if I just walked past? The thought came to Ivan's mind…
