The Weird Miss Novgood

At the end of the training session, Ivan returned to his dorm room and began writing a letter with a quill. The letter was very simple.

Ivan then remembered the sign Luna had made, smiled, and cast a small spell on the letter.

When she was done, Ivan put the envelope in her mouth and said to her, "Give this to Luna of Ravenclaw, the one with the funny face, got it?"

Although he was in the same castle as Luna and could be seen at dinner in the Great Hall, he ran over to report his participation in a Quidditch match?

That would be too strange and bad for secrecy, so I'd better write…

"Ivan, are you sending a letter? To whom?" Harry asked as he watched Ivan release the Macha.

"Just a friend!" Ivan replied.

At the same time, in the Tower of Ravenclaw, the young wizards and witches who had had dinner were returning to their dormitories.

One of the figures seemed to be alone, but she did not seem to care about her situation and hummed a tune leisurely.

Such mavericks attracted the attention of lesser wizards, and over the past two years, Luna had become a "celebrity" in Ravenclaw.

She was even given the nickname Ravenclaw's Mad Lady, or the strange Miss Novgood.

So when Luna walked past, people whispered to each other.

"She was such a crazy girl. I heard she was looking for creatures that didn't exist…"

"I've never seen anyone hang a wine cork around their neck in a necklace … no wonder nobody wants to be friends with her …"

"She even used the Dirigible Lee as an earring…"

The whispers grew louder, and when everyone else in the room agreed, the discussion that could only have been held in private became open and honest.

Luna heard the comments but did not react, or perhaps she was too used to it … to be offended by them.

One of the Ravenclaw boys, however, seemed to be looking for some new fun and shouted at Luna.

"Do you really think the Snorkack exists, Novgoode?"

"Ah, yes!" Luna turned her head to look at him, then corrected him earnestly. "And you should have called him…the Crumple-Snout!"

Luna's reply caused the Ravenclaw wizards to laugh, and the atmosphere in the tower became unusually cheerful.

"I looked it up. There's no such thing as a Snorkack…" the Ravenclaw boy retorted triumphantly.

"The world is too big for anyone to see the whole picture, and if there are always creatures that go unnoticed, then perhaps the Snorkack exists too… After all, we can't prove that it doesn't exist, can we?" Luna retorted, her voice like a ballad, not caring about their teasing.

Luna's explanation was less satisfying and more like an argument, so the jeers continued.

However, as Luna did not reply, they were unable to find any new entertainment. It was as if all the effort they had put into hitting her had been wasted on cotton. It was really boring, so they stopped teasing her.

Luna sauntered back into her dorm room. The incident had not stirred her emotions.

However, the situation in the dormitory was not good. Several plants in her basin had been maliciously pulled out, and the ornaments on her bed had fallen off.

The usual pranks …

Luna ignored the disappearing objects and patiently replanted the plants and filled in the soil. Then she wrote a notice to go out and look for her lost items.

However, when Luna looked to the side, she froze.

Because there was a sign in the corner of the room that had been painted in a strange way, and it looked completely different…

Luna went over and saw that it was indeed the sign she had made, but she had left it under her bed.

"Aurora… did you do this?" Luna frowned and suddenly turned to look at the young witches in the dormitory.

The young witches were amazed. They had teased Luna many times, but she never responded.

"Yes… I did it! We're Ravenclaw students. How can you cheer for the Gryffindor team? You weren't so enthusiastic when we played against Slytherin…" said the young witch, Aurora.

"I see it says Ivan Hals, or do you like him?" scoffed another Ravenclaw girl.

"We're friends…" Luna began to explain.

"Friend? Is Ivan Hals a friend of yours? Why didn't we know?" Aurora interrupted. She had never seen Luna interact with the famous Ivan Hals.

"Yes, friend!" Luna confirmed, remembering Ivan's admission a few days ago.

Aurora and the others did not believe him.

Ivan Hals was a wizarding legend at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He was the one who caught Peter Pettigrew, who had bewitched the wizarding community for over a decade.

In Aurora's opinion, Luna was perhaps like many of the lesser witches who were secretly infatuated with Hales, only more daring, daring to cheer him on openly.

After all, the whole of Ravenclaw knew how eccentric Luna was, always believing in strange things, and nobody wanted to be friends with her…

Just as Aurora was about to point this out, an owl swooped in through the window and landed on Luna's shoulder.

Luna found it strange that no one sent her letters except for her father and school notices.

With that in mind, Luna took the letter out of her mouth and opened it.

Looking at the text, Luna's originally gloomy mood instantly improved. At the same time, she noticed that the front of the signature was deliberately left blank.

Luna understood after a moment's thought. She placed her wand in the blank space and drew a circle with her magic. The dark ink connected and the hidden words were revealed. When combined with the original words, they formed a circle.
