One Year Has Arrived!

"All of them?" Doggett stared at Ivan in astonishment.

"What? You can't do it?" Ivan demanded, raising his eyebrows.

"No, of course not!" Dougett shook his head.

It was a difficult task, but with the right timing, a late-night raid, and a bit of luck, no one escaped.

"Good! Keep an eye out for the others. They're all Death Eaters, so be careful when you capture them. Don't give them a chance to fight back." Ivan tapped his wand on the table as he spoke.

Under the influence of Transfiguration, several human faces appeared on the mahogany table, vivid and haunting.

Dougett stared at them for a while, then promised to capture all of them tonight.

The meeting went on for over an hour, and Ivan finally called it a day after the battle plan had been formulated and the exact time of the strike.

The wizards in the room rose and saluted Ivan respectfully before leaving their seats in an orderly fashion.

When the last wizard stepped out of the meeting room, the room, which had been dim, suddenly became much brighter.

Ivan, who was sitting at the head of the table, no longer put on an act. His tense expression immediately relaxed, and he leaned back in his soft chair, looking very dispirited.

"What a pain in the ass… it's finally done," Ivan muttered to himself, rubbing his stiff face.

If he could, he would rather spend his summers relaxing at home, reading and practising his magic, than organising a meeting of Dark Wizards to discuss how to fix Knockturn Alley.

Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned. Lord Voldemort's return threw Ivan's plans into chaos, and the peaceful atmosphere in Knockturn Alley became chaotic.

In order to get rid of the instability in Knockturn Alley and gain enough power to protect himself, he had to consider completing the missions the system had given him to gain more Legend Points.

Crucially, these few days were his last chance to complete his mission.

According to Avery's information, the Dark Lord intended to recruit people and expand his influence in Knockturn Alley. Once the other party really got involved, he would never be able to complete his task of tidying up Knockturn Alley.

Therefore, the only thing they could do now was to cut the Gordian knot and get rid of all the opposition in the Knockturn Alley while Voldemort was still seriously injured and in hiding…

With this in mind, Ivan looked at the system mission panel again. As expected, there were some changes to the information.

[Become King of Knockturn Alley

Objective: Rectify Knockturn Alley (Ring Three)

Task Progress: 69%

Task Reward: Magical Mark

Legendary Points: 3 (King of Knockturn Alley)

Task description: One year has passed and you have finally decided not to hold back any longer. You will massacre the entire Knockturn Alley, punish the opposition and make everyone submit to your rule…]

Ivan nodded in satisfaction at the progress of the mission. It seemed he was on the right track.

However, when he looked down and saw the mission instructions, his mouth twitched.

As expected, this was the same system he was so familiar with…

However, this at least proved that he was right. He did not need all the wizards in Knockturn Alley to be impressed with him in order to complete the task of tidying up the place.

Of course, Ivan did not intend to go on a killing spree and execute all of his opponents, as described in the mission instructions, but rather intended to use his power and deterrence to temporarily gain their approval.

Ivan couldn't care less if these witches and wizards harbored ill will towards him or not.

After all, he didn't really want to rule Knockturn Alley. As long as he got Legendary Points for the mission, Ivan didn't care about anything else.

… .

At one o'clock in the morning, inside the Wizarding Market in Knockturn Alley, Ivan stood alone on the repaired platform and issued the command to assemble.

The next moment, figures appeared out of thin air in the middle of the square.

In just three seconds, all forty-six wizards had arrived!

All of them were high-spirited and heavily armed, and they were clearly prepared for action.

Tension and excitement filled the room. After a year of practice, their magic had improved dramatically, and it was time to put it to good use.

"Send out the list, Fran!" Ivan ordered.

Flun acknowledged this and distributed the parchments she was clutching to each of them.

Grace took her copy and looked at it curiously. The parchment showed a map of Knockturn Alley, accurately circled with five locations and the names of several people.

Grace immediately understood that they were her targets for the night.

"Wait… why is your map the same as mine?" Walker asked curiously, looking at the map in his hand and then at Grace's.

"You don't say? It means we're all in tonight!" Grace rolled her eyes and scanned the parchment for a sign that read "Seven".

As Grace had expected, Ivan started explaining when everyone had the map in their hands.

Considering that the wizards in Knockturn Alley were not friendly and that there was a risk of accidents if they went alone, he planned to split the forty-six wizards into groups of two to four so that they could work together for the night.

This ensured efficiency and minimised danger.

"Remember, you have to move fast!" Ivan said sternly, looking around at the crowd. "If you start a fight and make a noise, other wizards will notice, so time is of the essence. I want everyone on the list here by dawn…"

Ivan went on and on about the important points of the operation, the most crucial of which was the race against time!

After all, the Knockturn Alley was not very big. Even with the ruins on the east side, it was only equivalent to a large street square. If there was chaos, it would be easy to notice.

However, it was common for conflicts to break out in Knockturn Alley, and the wizards there often acted as if they had nothing to do with it. No matter how much the fighting was going on outside, as long as they felt that it had nothing to do with them, they would just go to sleep.

The key to this operation was to take advantage of this and catch everyone before they knew what was going on!
