Chapter # 1

The inn was bustling with men enjoying rum and shouting with their mouths full. That place stinked. The sweaty, filthy sailors and commoners were not something the royalty expected when it came to this little town far from capital. But sometimes a man must make sacrifices for better times. Two of the three young men from capital were absorbing their glorious environment while the other one seemed to be holding his patience.

"It's all your fault. I am wearing these rags for two weeks. TWO WEEKS! And yet you haven't found your better half. And where we are... right where we started." He let his argument out to the men who were looking at him with their own answers.

So what?

Keep your shit together or else....

Well, the rest was enough to keep him shut for a while until the duke spoke, "He might not be wrong about making no progress in finding a bride." "Thank you so much. I appreciate your acceptance." The viscount expressed his gratitude with arrogance and unconsciously drank the rum offered by the house to only gag in response. "That is not wine....it's cheap. I miss home." Ignoring the viscount, the duke looked at the prince for an answer as to why he can't pick his bride among all the spinsters they have met by now. Even he lost the count. The prince sighed and twirled the mug in front of him.

"I do not want a wife. I want a Queen. A queen who can rule beside me, who is dutiful and courageous just like my mother."

"The late Queen was indeed an inspiring woman and a great mother. But Jungkook, you can't look for her in someone else."

"Exactly! You just need a woman with good body proportions to give you a healthy heir-" Jin and Jungkook had murderous look in their eyes. If Taehyung had said another word, he might have been dead already. "Umm...I should take a stroll. You better ignore me." he patted the table and made his way out of the inn. The moment he stepped out in the dark alley, he took a deep breath. He truly missed home. He missed his wine and food and clothes and recognition as viscount. He had lost it all in just two weeks.

Damn Jungkook! Just pick a girl already. It's tiring.

"Alright, since the night is young, we can have a little time to ourselves before the duke decides we should start hunting the first thing in the morning."

Taehyung had no idea about his whereabout . All he knew was that it did not look a good place for a gentlemen. And not a place where a man with a heavy pouch can walk by just as easily as he seemed to be going.

These rugs are finally coming to some fine use.

As he continued exploring, he heard grunts and shouts not far away. Upon approaching the site, he witnessed one of the most exciting things he had ever seen through this journey to nowhere. A street fight. Not a street fight may be. It looked like a profession. People were putting on bets. "Young lad! who did you put your money on. A wise advice; see through their covers." Huh? Taehyung decided to join in but did not know what that man meant. He put his bet on the bulky man who seemed to have an upper hand compared to the petite man who looked more like a boy. Both were grunting and bleeding. There were OOOH's and AAAH's every time someone landed a throw.

The bulky man was on top of the petite one. Taehyung knew he was going to get a good amount and he leaned in with everyone doing a count down. But just like that, just. like that. the boy got lose of his grip and landed a kick right at the man's chest, that had him shocked and that was enough for the boy to knock him out. The cheers were deafening to Taehyung. He did not know what happened. He did lose his money, yeah. But how did that boy won over that gorilla. How in the wonderland?!

"I told you to see through the covers, lad. I guess, you don't have eyes for talent."

"Who is he? Wow-I mean HOW?"

"People call him Suga. He is a raw talent but he is undefeated. He is one in a million. A true gem."

Suga? I must meet him.

"Why are you not doing something. The coast is clear. Get the throne when you can! What if the prince comes back before his deadline ends. We will have nothing! NOTHING!".

The woman was pacing back and forth while a man was in the bath with a relaxed face. Hearing the woman rant. He smirked.

"Don't worry, my love. I have it under my control."

The woman walked to the bath tub and laid her delicate hands on the man's shoulders and started working her way to his arms. The man moaned with content and closed his eyes.

"I have faith in you."

The woman tilted the man's head up and gave him a passionate kiss that might have given a way to further exploring.
