Chapter 20: Father and Son

2 Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.

Proverbs 10:12

Hayley could only stomp in anger as she left the restaurant before finding the nearest bus stop that would lead her to the closest path to her dorm room. Her anger could clearly be seen even by the bus driver and other passengers though they didn't ask any questions out of respect for her privacy. As she continued to fume over her now soured relationship with her mother, she glared out at the window as she thought back to the conversation she had with her mother as Silver Spatula.

I can't believe her, she thought to herself angrily. The nerve of her! Acting as if she's my mother after years of her never being there for me and for making me break up with Zane against my will! I hate her! I'll never forgive her as long as I live! She can go die for all I care! I hate her, I hate her, I hate her, I HATE HER!
