Time Is Short

Fitz and Simmons got to work in a panic, and Wesley returned to the interrogation room. Sky was slumped over the table, staring into space. He sat up again when he heard the door open and smoothed his long hair.

"Did you find anyone?" Sky asked.

"We already have information about the other party, but now is not the time to act. We need time to find a way to suppress his explosion, or everyone will be in danger." Wesley sat opposite Sky and then explained.

"It's good that you can save him. So what are you going to do with me?"

"It's not up to me to decide. It's up to Phil to decide, but I don't think anything will happen. You won't go to jail. Just wait in peace. Everyone is busy now, so you can only stay here for the time being. Also, how about my proposal just now? Let's have dinner together?"

"Are all you rich people like this?"

"I don't know. I only know one rich man, Tony Stark. He was indeed a playboy in the past, but now he has stopped. I became rich less than two years ago, and I haven't had a chance to live that kind of life yet," Wesley said with a smile.

Sky laughed too, but she finally said, "Not interested."

Wesley threw up his hands. "What a shame. I hope there'll be a chance in the future. Do you need food and drink?"

"No, I just hope you can save him now."

As Wesley left the interrogation room, Phil Coulson came up to him. "Melinda has her eyes on the survivor. She can't get away. Besides, after this is over, we should discuss how to deal with John Garrett."

"That's right. We can use this incident to deal with him and eliminate his forces. It can be considered a big problem and weaken Hydra at the same time," Wesley agreed.

Phil Colson nodded. "That's right. I'll find a chance to talk to the chief too. He'll be able to cooperate with us at headquarters. But we have to find evidence to arrest John Garrett. That's going to be difficult."

"There's no hurry. Hydra has a big plan, but they don't have a clue yet. They are also preparing. They don't know the details, but it must be related to the program that imitates the Loom of Fate. Let the Director pay attention to the big plan they have recently proposed."

"Understood."

Wesley went to the lab again. Simons had taken samples and was testing them. Wesley watched them work idly.

Fitz suddenly came over. "Well… I… I found a surveillance camera. I wonder if I need to reconstruct what happened?"

Wesley smiled at him. He and Simons were two fresh out of campus, graduates of the technology department of SHIELD Academy. For technical geeks like them, communication takes a lot of time.

"Why not? We can still save it as evidence, right?"

"Okay." He hurriedly ran back, still like a frightened rabbit, hurried and clumsy.

Wesley felt that he should do something as well. He returned to the second floor and then took out his notebook and hacked into the city network to find Michael Peterson's location. Although Apple was still preparing to upgrade, it was still comparing its composition code with the molecular structure of the elements, hoping to find a way to combine them and maybe study a new language.

It was not difficult for Apple to hack into the city system now. Wesley went straight to Michael Peterson's house and the factory where he had worked. Wesley controlled all the surveillance systems in both places.

He looked closely at the surveillance camera. Although he could not yet see the other man, Wesley estimated that it was either of these places, or he would have nowhere to go.

Fitz ran to him again and stood there stammering awkwardly. Wesley didn't even know he was so intimidating. Why was it so difficult for him to talk to him?

"Is there a problem?" She looked at Fitz curiously. What was wrong with this child?

"That… the timeline doesn't match. It's hard to restore." After a long time, he said this. Wesley looked at him helplessly and said, "Wait." Wesley got up and went to look for Sky. In his memory, Sky should have an audio.

After entering, Wesley asked directly, "You've been monitoring that lab, right? Do you have anything in your hands?"

"What's wrong?" Sky was puzzled.

"Our people found some video records that can reconstruct the explosion, but the timeline doesn't match. If you have anything to help him, just say it."

"I have an audio, but it's on my van. Do you want me to get it?"

Wesley thought for a moment. It was better not to go now. After all, the stun gun was not yet complete. If he fought with the other party, it would easily make him lose control of his emotions. "No need. Wait until we find a solution. Otherwise, if we fight and he loses control of his emotions, he will self-destruct, especially if your van is parked in the city." Wesley got up and left.

"Fitz, she has an audio clip in her hand that can help you adjust the timeline, but it's dangerous to go out now. They've been in contact. You guys get the stun gun done first. There's no hurry to recover the video."

"Okay." Fitz ran away nimbly. Without the feeling of constraint, Wesley shook his head. It was really difficult to help Phil Coulson stabilize the team.

As he continued to watch the surveillance, he saw Michael Peterson walking out of the house. Wesley frowned. Where was this guy going? To the hospital or the factory? He kept an eye on his schedule and at the same time pulled up a road map from his house to the hospital and the project. Sure enough, he was going to the factory. Unemployment was too stressful for him to go to the factory and destroy.

Wesley got up and called Phil Coulson, then ran to the lab.

"How is it? How is the stun gun?" Wesley asked directly.

"Er…almost," Fitz said in a panic.

"What do you mean it's almost time?" Wesley's frown immediately made Fitz too nervous to speak.

Simmons said directly, "We modified it, but time was tight and we only completed one round."

Wesley nodded. "Good. One round is enough. Give it to me now."

Phil Coulson trotted down. "What's wrong?"

"He's going to the original factory. I'm afraid he'll lose control of his emotions. He has to act now. And they have completed a round. I think that's enough." Wesley said as he walked with Fitz's stun gun.
