Simon’s mission was to keep killing humans in order to draw the hunter's attention so he could exact his revenge on them for killing his parents. He had no intention of falling in love but now that he has gotten himself a Luna by accident, what will he do? Not only has he gotten himself a mate but also someone who shares the same strengths as him. 

Scarlett found out that her father’s death was not an accident but instead was killed by a werewolf. She joined the pack in order to look for the murderer but as she stayed longer, she discovered some secrets. The man she is mated to isn't what he seems.

When a message from October appeared on Scarlett's phone, she sighed. She received the address of the therapist. Scarlett looked up at her friends. "This is my cue. I've got to go. I can't let her take the credit card from me." 


"We understand. Remember to text by six," said Avery. As they waved goodbye to Scarlett, she encircled Cornelia in her arms. Scarlett got in her car and sped off. 


Scarlett remembered when the break was over. She went back to class after being summoned by Luke. He had communicated with her via the mindlink. She didn't know why she went, but she wanted to hear what he had to say. 


There were only her and Luke in the class when she arrived. She rolled her eyes and popped up the question, her arms folded across her chest. "Did Simon send you here?"
