Childhood Traumas!

Dr. Charlotte stopped Scarlett when she rose to her feet. "You are right. This is your therapy session. Please sit." Scarlett obeyed and looked at her. "So tell me, how did these traumas from your childhood make you feel?"

"Angry." Scarlett said. "I wish my mother had been there for me when I needed her. I had no idea what she was going through, but if I were in her shoes, I wouldn't have given up on my kids."

"So, you feel angry?"

"Yes. I do."

"Hmm." Dr. Charlotte nodded. She wrote a few words and looked up at Scarlett. "Did these childhood traumas give you the desire to self harm?"

"Self harm? You mean to hurt myself physically?"

Dr. Charlotte nodded. "Yes. Mentally as well. Have you ever considered harming yourself as a result of this?"
