You are being difficult Alicia, you can't dress like this in my mansion. Even the servants here don't dress like this. 


Did I just say please....hrghh you are driving me insane. "Is it a crime to say please.. Alicia asked with a quirked brow. You're unbelievable.


"That word doesn't exist in my dictionary and you must know that. Mom is waiting for you in the kitchen. I think it's related to cooking. I wonder why she still follows that tradition.


"Leo I don't know how to cook...she said with a horrified look. "And how is that supposed to be my business? 


"What the....I feel like strangling you right now. She walked out angrily banging the door.


"Crazy girl...he smiled while shaking his head. He walked to the mirror looking at his reflection and noticed the smile on his face. 


He immediately dropped it and his face was back to the cold expressionless one. "How is it possible that I'm smiling because of her? Naaa leon you can't let her have an impact on you.


Alicia descended the stairs hurriedly and made her way to the kitchen. She greeted the maids and they responded by shooting her wired looks. They sized her up and down and turned around in disgust. There was no doubt that their clothes were way better than hers. 


She shrugged her shoulders not caring. Lisa barged in with a tray of ceramic bowls. "Who is that? she asked one of the maids.


Alicia turned swiftly and Lisa immediately dropped the tray. *smash*


Alicia jolted back. "What the heck do you think you're wearing? Oo my God I think I'm going to get a heart attack. 


"Why does everyone keep on asking this silly question. I'm in my clothes of course.


"Just look around you, even the maids are in better clothes. You are married to the heir of this empire and you're dressed like a street rat.


"Ma'am I respect you soo much, please mind the way you speak to me.


"Would you look at that. if you want to live here in peace you've got to obey me. I have no other choice but to accept you, so just for once in your life adapt with this new life you've got now.


"Now move back to your bedroom and get yourself better clothes to wear. 


"Yes ma'am. Tears blurred her vision but she did everything possible she could to hide them. She acts brave outside but naturally she was a weak person. 


"Don't wast much time, you are going to prepare breakfast for today. It's a tradition that has been practiced for ages by the Hart family. 


"I'm sorry ma'am but I don't know how to cook. 


"This is unbelievable, you can't cook as well. Jeez what do I do with this girl. 


"You could teach me you know instead of talking too much. Alicia turned around and walked briskly towards the kitchen door bumping into a hard chest. "I'm sorry"


I moved back arranging my hair properly. I raised my head and my eyes fell on Leo. He looked angry. I glared at him as a tear dropped on my cheek, I was quick to clean it. I walked passed him and run towards our bedroom.
