Gina honestly couldn’t believe the opportunities presented in front of her right now. She’d been approached by Zaros himself, who wanted to discuss further opportunities in the company. ‘This early?!’ she thought to herself, completely lost in thought as she rode the bus home from the BAI office building.
After all the mistakes she made the first day, and some minimal ones on the second, she couldn’t believe her luck. ‘No,’ she told herself. ‘Not luck. Hard work.’
The days following her last interaction with Zaros in the break room had been much improved from her first few. She’d streamlined many of the spreadsheets relevant to important biochemicals and laboratory tasks. She’d stopped into the lab itself, making suggestions on better practices and improved trials for experimentation based on what she’d learned in both grad school and experience on the field prior to this career.
