Gina held her head, letting out a soft groan as she sat up in her bed. Annabeth had been wonderful, but this all was a pain in the neck. Still, this is what she signed up for, and she didn’t feel any regrets. The woman went through all that happened last night. The ‘highlight’, if one could call it that, was Zaros’s bite.
She was chomped on by an enemy vampire, and that had been so, incredibly painful. She winced at that thought, but Zaros had come to the rescue. That was, admittedly, frightening at first. A surge of adrenaline ran through her as she recalled the feeling of being prey to him. Honestly, with him, it felt quite good, something she was confused about but accepting of nonetheless. Then, however, everything felt so… good.
