He couldn’t be dead.

Gina watched, wringing her hands as her lover laid there on the bed before her. The pack had dragged the charred bodies of the rogues out of the room, and it was just her, Annabeth, and Zaros. The half-vampire laid there, unmoving, no response whatsoever. In fact, his heart was starting to slow.

“No,” Gina said aloud, tears pouring down her cheeks. “You can’t leave me, damn it. We have too much to do. A life to be had together. I’ve gone through your silly Alpha Billionaire secret shenanigans. I accepted everything, and now you’re mine. You can’t leave. Please, Zaros, you can’t leave,” the woman gasped.

Annabeth bit her lip, giving the poor Luna some space, though dealt some harsh reality to the poor woman, wanting her to be read for… anything. She sent through the link, ‘We may be witnessing the death of an Alpha. He’d lost so much blood in a short period of time, the chunks of his throat ripped out anything but good.
