The Peak Ocean Pack...
"Hey, get your ass over here and clean up this mess." Drianne shouted at Sylvia.
Sylvia hurried over to where she was sitting. Drianne deliberately spilled her cup of hot tea when Sylvia bent down to clean up the mess on the floor.
The hot tea spilled on Sylvia's hand, scalding her. She yelped in pain.
"Didn't you see the tea coming?" Drianne taunted.
She and other pack members laughed at Sylvia as she crouched pitifully on the floor.
"Won't you clean it and get the hell outta here? The sight of you irritates me." Drianne scrunched her nose disgustedly.
Sylvia swallowed her anger and held back her tears.
It had been a month since her arrival at the Crescent pack. And each day of her stay here made her almost plan on eloping.
The pack members all took their turns to bully her. She had to clean the large pack house with the twenty four rooms. She had to attend to each of the pack members.
It would have been better if the pack members were nice to her.
Were they?
They were all bullies.... And she couldn't retaliate at all. There were times when she was tempted to fight back, but then she remembered the Alpha's orders. She couldn't.
If she did, they won't be the only ones suffering. She would too. Since she reneged on the contract.
She wasn't even to raise her voice at any of the pack members. She had a lot of pent up anger.
Her whole body were filled with scars from the Alpha and his Betas. She was tired of everything...
But she should have known right from time that a rival pack couldn't possibly go easy on her. They all hated each other, no?
A sudden pain engulfed her as someone stepped on her scalded hands. She looked up at the culprit and saw Selena looking down at her in contempt.
"Are you stupid? Do you want me to trip? Why are you blocking my way?"
Sylvia couldn't be bothered to give an answer to the she-devil in front of her. Amongst all the pack members, her bullying was on another level altogether.
She hurt her over the slightest mistake, and now she's claiming that she was blocking her way?
'Bitch' Sylvia closed off all means of mind link. She didn't want Selena to read her mind.
At first, she didn't realize that they could mind link each other. She didn't block it and simply spoke in her mind and they heard.
It came as a shock to her. She was an alpha and a member of another pack. But, it seemed due to the contract with their alpha, she shared a responsibility with all his members.
It didn't sound feasible but she knew it was possible with the blood contract.
"Aren't you going to get out of the way?" Sylvia dutifully moved out of the way. But as Selena made to pass, Sylvia couldn't resist using her powers a little.
"Aaaahh!!!"
A loud scream echoed in the pack house. Selena had fallen face down to the floor.
Drianne and other female wolves rushed to her aid. As Sylvia hadn't cleaned up the mess, her dress was soiled and the liquid dripped down her dress.
"You fool! What did you do to Selena?" Drianne was angered.
Sylvia was more powerful than any of them but it seemed they had forgotten.
"Me? I'm nothing but a useless Luna. What could I have possibly done?" Sylvia shrugged as she laughed inwardly.
Selena wiped the corner of her lips and when she licked it, she tasted her blood.
"How dare you!!" She rushed towards Sylvia in an attempt to injure her.
Sylvia watched her with an uninterested look and when Selena was close to her, she simply ducked and Selena fell to the floor in a pathetic fashion.
Luther stood up furiously from his table and walked towards her.
"Aren't you pressing your limits, Sylvia?" His eyes were seeing red.
"Apologize." He ordered.
"For what? I did nothing. She fell down on her own accord." Sylvia refused obstinately.
She knew what Luther said was true; she was pressing her luck.
This was the first time ever since her arrival here that she ever did something of this sort

"Apologize right now!!" He raised his voice loudly this time. His eyes were beginning to turn deep golden.
Sylvia knew he was truly angered.
Sylvia wasn't looking. She didn't see Selena approach her with a lamp.
With great force, she slammed it on Sylvia's head.
Everything turned blurry, she fell with a thud on the floor...
Blackout...

Sylvia opened her eyes slowly. Everywhere was dark but she could see clearly. What happened?
Oh, that's right... She blacked out after Selena slammed a lamp on her head.
'That bitch. Screw her!' Sylvia cursed inwardly.
The sound of the door opening made her turn her gaze towards that direction. Who was coming?
Might be Selena... Maybe she was finally here to finish what she started.
Alpha Nolan walked into the room with a furious expression.. How dare she hurt a member of his pack?
He hated it.
He hated that she didn't give him face.
"You have grown lately, isn't it?" He walked over to the window and turned his back at her.
Sylvia groaned inwardly. She was in for a new bout of suffering. Perhaps due to her actions today, Alpha Nolan might be rougher than usual.

He might even injure her...
Alpha Nolan walked over to her side,and with ease, he raised her by the neck. He held her up above the ground.
Sylvia's eyes dilated. Was he going to choke her to death?
However being the obstinate wolf she was, she wasn't going to make a single sound.
"Sylvia..." He called her name slowly.
"Do you know what you are to me? Let me clear your doubts a bit .. You are nothing but a lowly Beta; a plaything to me. You aren't greater than anybody in this pack. On that note, if I ever hear of you hurting any of my Betas with your powers, that day will be the end of you." He threw her back on the bed.
Sylvia winced in pain...
'Beast.' She cursed.
"What...did....you...just...call...me?" Alpha Nolan asked in disbelief.
Did she just call him a beast?
Sylvia was startled. Didn't she close off the mind link?
Then how did he hear what she just said?
