The Blue Moon pack...
All members of the pack sat round a large table in the pack house. They were all silent as none of them was willing to speak first.
Clara cleared her throat and stood up from her chair. "What do you guys suggest we do?"
"Nothing obviously. We can't possibly go against our new Alpha can we?" Murray, one of the betas turned his gaze downwards.
"So, are we going to sit back and continue this way? It's been six months now. Six months since our Alpha stepped down from her position. Six months since Alpha Nolan became the Alpha of our pack. Six months of torture for us." Clara spoke up again raising her voice a notch each time. She seemed to be on the verge of tears.
The other pack members were silent.... What could they possibly do?
"Really? Why didn't I know about that?!" A voice thundered behind them.
Startled, they turned to look at who it was. It was the last person they were expecting to see; Alpha Nolan.
He was standing there with a murderous look on his face.
They shifted uncomfortably on their seats. What was he going to do to them this time? Ever since he became the Alpha of the both packs, they have been living in fear.
Why wouldn't they be? First of all,he was the Alpha of the rival pack. Secondly, he was known as the devil himself. Thirdly, their Luna was in his hands. They were sure she was suffering.
One thing they were thankful about was the fact that he allowed them to remain in their pack house. They couldn't imagine staying in the same pack house with their rivals. It was going to be a nightmarish experience for them.
"A..alpha Nolan, that wasn't what we meant." Clara nervously stuttered.
"Are you actually standing while addressing your Alpha?" He snarled.
"S... sorry Alpha Nolan." Clara hurriedly went down on her knees. The other pack members trembled nervously. What was the Alpha going to do to them?
"This is great... Isn't it everyone?" He took a step towards them.
Out of fear, Murray fell off his chair. It was funny but the other pack members couldn't laugh; even a giggle. They were afraid of what Alpha 'Devil' will do to them.
"Gossiping about your Alpha. Discussing about your sufferings... Do you guys want to stage a revolt?" By this time,he was already at the head of the table. He sat on the chair reserved for the Alpha.
"We dare not..." They all nodded their heads hurriedly.
Would they actually admit to the fact they were actually nursing the idea of a revolt?
If they did, there wasn't a guarantee their head would remain on their necks.
Alpha Nolan wouldn't hesitate to behead them.
Yes, he was that ruthless.
"Aren't you going to sit?" Alpha Nolan asked Clara who was still kneeling on the floor.
"No, I'm fine this way, Alpha.." She refused politely. Though she maintained a calm expression, her heart was actually racing.
She was the one that headed the discussion. She was the one trying to fan the embers of the pack members ember. She had no idea the Alpha would be visiting the pack house that day.
She was done for...
"That was an order.." Alpha Nolan said with a sharp glint in his eyes.
"Y..yes Alpha Nolan." Clara hurriedly sat on her chair. Could she afford to further anger the Alpha at this moment?
If she did, her head would roll on the floor...
"Is there any reports?" Alpha Nolan's voice sounded again from the head of the table.
Murray who refused to stand up from his fallen position, suddenly dragged himself up.
"There is, Alpha Nolan." The other pack members stared at him thanking him in their hearts for being the courageous one.
"What is it?" Alpha Nolan turned his gaze towards Murray.
Murray avoided his gaze. He couldn't afford to get intimidated by him at this moment.
"Our stipends... We are running out of food." He informed in a mellow voice.
"And how is that my business?" Alpha Nolan arched his brow. What was his business with their feeding? They could fend for themselves, couldn't they? Or were they so useless?
'Tsst...' It seems being useless was a normal thing in this pack. From a useless Alpha down to the Betas.
The pack members all raised their heads to stare at Alpha Nolan. What was he saying? Did he want them to starve to death? For the past few days, they had been hungry. But being werewolves, they could hold on for a little while longer.
"I have more important things to do." Alpha Nolan stood up from his chair and made for the door.
The pack members gulped nervously. They wanted to fight back. But they couldn't muster the courage to do so. Lives were in hands and if they triggered his anger, everyone would pay for it.
When Alpha Nolan got to the door, he turned back.
"If I ever hear anything of this sort. Or you guys gossiping about me, you know what will happen."
"Y..yes Alpha." They stuttered nervously.
"Good."
"Is he gone?" Murray asked clutching his chest. He almost had a panic attack. The Alpha was so frightening.
"How are we supposed to know?" Clara glared at him.
"You almost made us bid this world good bye." Murray chuckled.
"Still in the mood to laugh aren't you? A reminder: we are all going to starve to death." Clara got up and headed to the kitchen.
After she said that, the atmosphere around the pack house turned gloomy. That was true; there wasn't anything left at all.
They were going to starve...
"But, if he's like this to us, what about our Alpha?" Raven threw a question.
The pack members remained silent. That was the question that has been bugging them. They all loved their alpha unconditionally.
Was there any reason not to?
An alpha that was willing to step down from her position in exchange for the plague that befell them?
Who wouldn't help but love an alpha like that?
But their hands were tired. They couldn't even defend themselves against Alpha Nolan. Let alone help their Luna.
They just had to keep hoping. Hoping the Luna was safe and sound.

Nolan walked into the pack house fuming. He was extremely annoyed and just wanted to kill someone. Those measly rats had actually dated to plot against him.
They said he was cruel.
Indeed, he was.
He knew he was. But, did they know what he had gone through? What did they know?
He clenched his fist, veins popping in his head as he stomped into the main house.
"Alpha..." Selena called as he entered. She twisted lightly as she walked to him, her hips swinging along with the motion.
It was an act meant to seduce him.
But, he was too annoyed to be impressed.
Moreover, he had Sylvia. Why did he need to go having sex with another woman? Moreover, it was bound to stop the moment he decided he was going to have Sylvia to himself.
He wasn't a man whore.
He merely gave her a glance and barked, "Stay away from me!"
Selena stepped back in fear. Her heart was in her throat. They had all been preoccupied with bullying Sylvia.
And they had forgotten that the man was cruel to all. He was not empathetic at all.
Even if they were his pack members.
Nolan simply pushed her away and stomped up the stairs. He had no idea what he was doing.
But, he could barely think.
They said he was a devil.
He wasn't supposed to be bothered by it. But, he was. It felt horrible and he felt sick in his stomach. He could feel bile rising in the pit of his stomach.
As he walked up the stairs, his gaze fell on the first door.
That was Sylvia's room.
Nolan's gaze narrowed her. And without another thought, he found himself turning towards her door in one motion.
He stomped the door open and it went ajar immediately. It opened and she could see inside. The lights were on and it cascaded over the whole room, lighting it up.
She was lying there on the bed. Asleep.
Her eyes were closed and serene. She didn't seem to notice anything. She was just still like that, sleeping.
Sylvia had always been a beautiful woman. He knew it the first day she walked through his doors and stood before him, asking for the cure.
She was beautiful. And elegant too.
Nolan wasn't sure what he wanted from her. But, he knew he liked it when she stood across him like that talking without a fear.
She had looked him in the eye and spoke. She knew of the rumors. They said he was dark. He was heartless and cruel. But yet, she didn't flinch as she talked to him.
He liked it when she was like that.
But, it was her.
She was the one hegot his hands on. Most of them were dead. Those who weren't had been dealt with by him. All of them had sons as heirs.
But Sylvia was different. She was a woman.
And that was why she had to suffer in this fashion.
Nolan's grip on the door tightened. He felt awful and deeply annoyed.
Why was he bothered?
It was their fault...
They had to suffer. Why was he bothered about what they thought of him?
The anger came rushing again and it took over his senses. As he looked at the young woman asleep on the bed, breathing evenly, he felt overpowered by a deep sense of anger.
He wanted to destroy things.
He wanted them to feel the pain he felt. And without another thought, he took a step into the room.
