Fending Off Toneri Successfully Once Again

It is a Western-middle age fantasy, swords, and magic, world setting. But, it is similar to those Chinese "Villain-type" novels plot-vise if you know what I'm talking about. Suddenly, Kiyomi detected a large gray lance made from Toneri's Truth-Seeking Balls speeding right toward their position. Unlike Neji, who knew perfectly how to decrease their size and control them to the maximum, to make them more concealed or even use them for defensive purposes in a form of close body armor of moving and rotating fragments of them, Toneri could only inject more chakra to amplify their general size in order to make them more destructive as he could only rely on his sheer quantity of chakra instead of chakra control and finesse as Neji when using them in battle.

Furthermore, Neji and Kiyomi soon abruptly noticed a dozen more spears rushing toward them from various angles. And if one of them were to hit them, it would be over. Toneri even started changing their trajectories mid-air, with his gravity, to make the barrage even more difficult to escape from, "This is bad!", Neji could now only think of one temporary solution at the moment.

He concentrated on his ocular vision, and then carefully coated his hands in the ultra-hardened Truth-Seeking Balls material, with a thin layer of separating, empty space in between his skin and the substance itself to avoid any potential debilitating effects. He then standardly performed his almost instinctual Eight Trigrams set of Gentle Fist movements to defend himself and Kiyomi from Toneri's large gray spears, swiftly slapping them away one at a time. It was all done in an instant.

Neji could currently do only a partial Tenseigan Chakra Mode transformation on his arms in order to create those pieces of Truth Seeking fabrics and defend with them. He already expended all of his chakra previously in order to parry Toneri's colossal sword and vortex attacks. He was also looking for Toneri's body. He was sure that he was hidden somewhere near, "Damn, he went underground!",

Neji shouted loudly as a cyan-colored, scrawny arm suddenly protruded and then fiercely clawed onto Neji's torso from the ground up and then spilled his blood all over the area in a thrust, while Neji gurgled. "Neji!", Kiyomi was frozen in place with dread and disbelief. Toneri victoriously smiled. He previously went deep inside the earth's interior, out of Neji's sensing and vision range while also controlling his spears remotely with the help of the chakra in the atmosphere left there by his Giant Tenseigan on the Moon. His battle sense and tactics really improved after traveling the entire world.

Toneri could now also still use his complete Tenseigan Chakra Mode, unlike Neji. And, he didn't feel bad for exploiting Neji now and dealing with him, while he had only half of his chakra left, because he was confident that he could deal with him easily even if he had his full chakra in place, it made no difference in Toneri's mind. It was just that he managed to find him today and he was not sure when he could again, "Your Tenseigan, I will offer it to the Hamura's Giant Tenseigan, Neji Hyuga!", Toneri smiled and said while looking at Neji's who appeared to have his heart squeezed by his hand.

"Don't worry, you're next woman!", Toneri took a step forward to them in order to really steal Neji's eyes next. His expression looked triumphant and his voice was even more confident than before. Kiyomi's eyes were wide and incredulous while also full of dread and aghast. She couldn't fathom that Neji has just fallen and perished in that way. It felt like some kind of a nightmare realm to her.

She was so petrified that she even forgot how to think and speak. At this moment she realized just how big of a presence Neji had in her mind before. Inside her mind, Neji was well ingrained as an indestructible person who could defeat and vanquish any foe or assist and teach her with anything.

"You shall pay with your life!", Karin's hoarse voice suddenly rang out in the field next. She already unsealed herself from her previous fuinjutsu and her voice was bloody murderous, as well as full of despair, as she just witnessed the previous scene of Neji's gruesome end. Her mind was in a state of utter mess, complete chaos, torn between her urge for vengeance against Toneri and sadness and heartbreak because of Neji's tragic fate. It was all of a sudden that she felt a new kind of sensation on her Adamantine Chains that she just manifested in order to attack Toneri to the end of her life.

She finally achieved the final stage of the Uzumaki clan's, S-class, Adamantine Sealing Chains, at this moment, due to the large disturbance in her mentality and spiritual yin energy. It gave her the final boost required to open this stage of the said technique. Not only that her chains could now steal the life forces of anyone they caught, but they were also many times faster than before. They were now red in color and full of some ancient-looking Uzumaki clan patterns engraved on top of them, 'So fast! This is a Six Paths level ability!', Toneri thought in astonishment as he began dodging those crimson-red chains. Karin now only had Toneri and his torturous death inside of her shattered mind.

However, right at this moment, Neji who was seemingly dead suddenly opened his eyes once again. Right after finding Uzumaki's secret island with his companions, he first came in contact with the so-called Mystical Palm Technique. It then dawned on him, for the first time, how good of medical ninjutsu expert he could become too, especially if performing healing procedures on his own body.

With his remarkable chakra control skills and outstanding cellular vision, he possessed, as well as his long-standing familiarity with his own body, constantly looking over nearly all of his cells from the moment he was very young, he realized that he could quickly and proficiently regenerate any part of his anatomy by using his own version of that general medical technique that he stumbled upon.

He could do it inside of his body in a form of chakra control tube-like injections, the same ones that he used while infusing with foreign cells. He found that he could in fact regenerate some localized areas so quickly, even before his body signals picked up on that injury. He could even constantly heal himself in battles, right now, of course, if the damaged area wasn't too large. The Mystical Palm Technique was considered a general area, healing ninjutsu, and he elevated it to the new precision healing territory. Ordinary medical jutsu users couldn't bring it to those ultra-precise levels like him.

He planned to use that newfound ability as a surprise factor against some opponent, in the future, and he finally got a great opportunity today against Toneri. Nevertheless, even he was not sure if he could regenerate parts of his own heart as he did. Previously, he hid this ability even from Kiyomi and Karin as his last hole card in this world if everything else failed. He previously exercised it by doing small damage to other organs and tissues and then regenerating, however, he never did any kind of damage like the one he just received from Toneri. Not to mention on his heart. However, he really had no other choice. Toneri caught him with fifty percent of chakra left, pressured him, and then really defeated him with that sneak attack from the ground. It was his last chance for survival.

He could only hope that this ability, which wasn't tested in that kind of way, managed to save his life and it fortunately did. And that was not the only ability he previously learned during the last few months. While still lying down on the ground, Neji suddenly moved Kiyomi away and performed another earth-shattering ability, targeting Toneri, 'Truth-Seeking Rotation!', He also glanced at Karin's current state of mind, appearance, and the new technique. He truly didn't expect that she really cared for him so much that her sadness and wrath because of his own death managed to increase her yin spiritual powers so much that it allowed her to leapfrog years of training in order to manifest that ability so early. She was now also at an early Six Paths level, the same way as Kiyomi.

It wasn't that strange for Karin to awaken that ability, in that way, now that Neji thought about it, after all, didn't she acquire those Adamantine Chains, in the first place, after she was emotionally disturbed, in the original, by Sasuke's state? It was apparent that all kinds of Yin Release jutsu were connected to the users' mental states. The author of the series emphasized that point many times, 'That girl...', At this time, Neji was deeply touched and he already elevated her to the same level as Tenten. Anyone who was this good to him, he would be a thousand times better to them. However, those who wronged him, then he would wrong them a thousand times worse, such was his mindset.

Toneri turned around in shock as soon as Neji stopped keeping his body in a seemingly perished state while moving stunned Kiyomi, to the other side of the field at a safe distance from them all. On one side, he was chased by Karin's chains, but on the other side, he was now dumbfounded by Neji's reappearance and that new move he was rapidly preparing. It gave him a dangerous feeling.

Neji still had enough chakra left to make another, last batch of Truth-Seeking Orbs material which then he divided on a microscopic scale to an even lesser dimension than fragments, like a pseudo atomic level. Neji then used his simple Hyuga Rotation technique, scattering that wave full of those right toward Toneri. They were on such a minuscule level that they could certainly erase anyone on a cellular level because they were molecule-sized and could easily enter various cells of their targets from the inside and erase parts of them. And Toneri was now really deep within his range as he had expected him to be dead, at this point. Its range of effect depended on the amount of chakra used.

The Truth Seeking Orb material erases only those things that it directly touches. However, there was another similar kind of material, or better said Kekkei Mora, called the All-Killing Ash Bones, which only needs to touch someone, even just barely, and then the effect would spread to the rest of their body and disintegrate it automatically. Neji hoped to one day acquire that exact ability as well after changing his genes closer to Kaguya's ones in the future. In fact, as his Otutsuki genes were directly linked to her, it wasn't hard to imagine that possibility. Neji could use this same technique, he just performed, with them, making it even more lethal, in the future. He would eject it in the same way as his Rotatiton and fragmentize it with his chakra control and microscopic vision. It was called Kekkei Mora, just like his Byakugan, and all the other Kekkei Genkai that came into this world from Kaguya directly instead of from Chakra Fruit mutations like all the other elemental Kekkei Genkai.

There was even another ability similar to those two, it was Rinnegan's and Ishiki's abilities to create some kind of black chakra receivers. Neji thought of them as some kind of a general Otustuki and Sage of Six Paths ability. However, for him, those rods were inferior to both of the aforementioned.

With both of those new techniques Neji mastered, alongside his general boost of chakra obtained through that giant white energy vessel, he thought that if he survived this ordeal, he would truly become a late Six Paths level powerhouse, similar to current Obito, Toneri, and for example Madara and Hashirama in the original series right after they were reincarnated during the so-called War Arc. Neji didn't know for sure, but he also thought that Indra and Ashura were both on that level as well in the past. It was truly a level just below the Sage of Six paths Hagoromo and his brother Hamura.

"What!?", Toneri suddenly felt the biggest danger in his life so far, he couldn't help but think that this incoming wave of gray air could completely erase his existence if it hit. And Karin's upgraded chains were also behind him. He could only grit his teeth and rapidly burn all of his remaining chakra in order to artificially, rapidly increase his speed while damaging his body and escape this situation. He knew that after doing that, Neji managed to survive against himself, a God, once more.

"Neji Hyuga, I swear, I will destroy you one day in the future, no matter how many times you cheat your way out of it! You're destined to always remain beneath me... Also, no matter how many new techniques you create, I will come once again with more brute force and render all of that useless!",

Toneri shouted in anger while his Tenseigan Chakra Mode overheated in power. He vanished in the next moment. While in his light speed, he suddenly pondered to maybe even fuse himself with his ancestor Hamura's Giant Tenseigan, just like Neji previously did with that inferior version of his, in order to make himself a level above him once again and to step over him. Toneri was sure that this was just destiny's way of honing himself and making him more qualified to later rebuild this world.

At this moment Toneri even viewed Neji as some kind of avatar of destiny created just to strengthen himself and make him more experienced for when he eventually really starts his plan to destroy and recreate this world. After all, had it not been for Neji's interference, he would've never traveled the Ninja World, learned so many different abilities and tactics, grew in mindest, and some other people would've therefore exploited that against him and prevented him from reaching his goal in the end.
