phone call

zia's p.o.v

me and aspen had been locked in here for 3 days trying to get my hand out of the chain. the people we had seen didn't even think to check on us and most likely forgot. aspens cage was almost right behind me and she could reach my hand and the chain but nothing more. we had lost track of time other than a small digital clock that only flickered on from time to time. that's when aspen spotted a small cabinet just out of reach from her with a key on top.

ZIA: you think that key could do something?

ASPEN: probably I can try to reach it but I don't have longs arms

(aspen scoots over in her cage toward the key. she tried to reach the cabinet but unfortunately failed. then I had a idea)

ZIA: wait what if you use your foot to nock down the cabinet and the key could fly towards you

ASPEN: well I can try these bars aren't close together so I could give I a try

ZIA: hurry there is something going on outside

aspen does as I said and ends up putting the key right next to the bottom of her cage. she grabs it in a hurry and runs to the side closest to me. aspen grabs my chains lock and the key fits into the lock. she twists it once and the key turns the chain and unlocks arm. I quickly went toward my phone and grabbed it. I unlocked the phone and quickly went to call 911. then I realized I didn't know where I was. I looked through my contacts and realized a unfamiliar phone number was there. the name for the phone was call for help. I decided to call the number and ask for help. the commotion going on from the other side of the wall told me there was fighting going on. luckly I saw the man pull a blue book on a shelf to close the door. it was the only blue book on the shelf so it was easy to find. I dialed the number and I waited for a answer. when somebody did I recognized the voice immediately.

ZACH: hello?

ZIA: HEY YOUR THE ALPHA RIGHT I HEAR YOUR VOICE

ZACH: seriously where are you you've been missing for 3 days

ZIA: it sounds like you and your friends are outside of where me and my sister in law are

ZACH: I'm listening tell me anything you can I will find you

ZIA: there is a blue book on a shelf in a corner of the room if you can find it pull it please we are behind it

ZIA: please help me

ZACH: I will trust me...
