As soon as Lady Parthia heard Princess Camelia connect the sounds coming from that room with her presence in the room, the mature mother felt a bout of fear, unlike anything in her life.

Even when Alexander had led his conquering army past the Tibian capital's walls and taken over the palace, letting the fate of her family hang in the balance, the regal queen was probably still not as scared as she was now.
