Ember Hall Trial Part 4

Tyler clenched his hands around the hilt of his sword and dashed forward. His left hand drew the sword horizontally as he made a fast strike. But, the projection revealed the lightning boots and instantly dodged his attack with ease.

Tyler didn't stop there. He changed his direction as he chased after the projection and slashed his sword. This time, he couldn't use the previous move so the projection didn't run.

Rather, he raised his sword and crossed his sword against Tyler's sword.

Tyler slowly closed his eyes for a moment.

'I can win this battle. I definitely have superior physical strength. But, what about the next one? What about the level after that? I will obviously have a hard time or even fail the trial.'

'Sorry Miao, I can't follow your instruction. This guy has similar skills to mine, and I can overwhelm him because of my physical strength. So, I am going to use this opportunity to train my left hand.'

'I must get stronger to use swords in both of my hands.'

Tyler's eyes blazed with determination as he started moving his sword and slashing against the projection. He didn't use spiritual energy or lightning energy.

He simply used his raw strength because he knew even this would be harder for the projection to directly counter. Both of them continued to exchange blow after blow with their swords.

Each strike pushed the projection to the edge. While he tried to use some of the lightning energy strikes or simply sword arts, Tyler's overwhelming physical strength gave him stability in the battle.

He wasn't pushed back nor he was seriously injured. As for the minor injuries, he didn't care. Tyler was getting more adaptable in using his left hand for cross strikes.

His strikes weren't landing on Projection but each strike was getting steadier. Each time, he swings his hand, his sword struck the projection's sword, closer to the point where he wanted.

Even while clashing sword against sword, there are many things that he could improve like where to strike his sword edge. When his eyes see one thing, he must strike at that point.

If he made a slight difference, he wouldn't be able to master his swordsmanship with his left hand.

So, he focused on striking at the correct position. It took him nearly an hour to get a proper strike at the projection's sword. It was like striking a thin wire. While he was improving his steadiness with his left hand, he didn't notice his swordsmanship growing overall.

Previously, he couldn't manifest his Sword Aura. He had to utilize his intense Sword Essence with Spiritual Energy and stamina to create the Sword Aura. But, it was only possible because he had that kind of aura to him the moment he inherit that ten years of experience.

Of course, even so, it wasn't a true Sword Aura. Every time he used that, a massive amount of stamina and spiritual energy would be consumed. But now, he was able to manifest his Sword Aura occasionally.

Because he was too focused on training, he didn't notice it. After one hour of marking with his sword, he finally focused on speed. In his previous training, he couldn't move fast like he usually would.

But, using marking and speed together would definitely lower his marking chances. Even so, he had got a pretty good basic on marking, so he didn't hesitate to do it.

He started training with his marking and speed for the next hour. For this training, he had to increase the speed of his strike after every successful event. So, in the beginning, he kept his speed at the lowest and as he got successful, he increased his speed.

During the time when his strike wasn't landing on the projection's sword, he had to face the attack with his body, leaving quite a powerful sword injury. He was injured overall.

Although none of them were serious, it was quite dangerous for him. Fortunately, he had brought Cell Regeneration Pills. In case that rabbit doesn't give him any healing pills, he could use these.

He has two means he could use once again later on. But, he wanted to save it as much as possible. That's why he planned to completely master his Swordsmanship with his left arm as soon as possible.

He also noticed that he managed to awaken the Sword Aura naturally. Sword Aura is the manifestation of Sword Will and Sword Experience. Before, he had Sword Experience.

But, he didn't have the Sword Will. It wasn't like he would practice sword if he didn't have the talent. He only chose Sword because he had the talent for it. But, now, he was willing to use the sword.

He wanted to get stronger with his sword and depend on his sword for the battle. This pushed him to manifest the Sword Aura. Now, he doesn't need to consume Sword Essence or Spiritual Energy or a crazy amount of stamina to manifest it.

He only needs a little bit of stamina and he could maintain the Sword Aura for the entire day. Of course, he didn't want to use the Sword Aura right now. He had to train with nothing but his incapable left hand to make it capable.

After an hour of training for speed with his left hand, he finally stopped. Now, the only training that remained was strength training. He had to learn how much strength he need to put on each strike. A little more strength would make his sword imbalanced and a little less strength wouldn't hurt his enemy.

So, he had to train. First, he trained for Precision. Second, he trained for Speed. Now, he was training for strength. Just like the other two, it took him an hour.

But this time, it was because he wanted to spend more time. Learning to utilize the correct amount of strength wasn't hard for him. As soon as he finished learning that, he decided to use all of them at once.

He stood in front of the projection and looked at his own body.

"More than dozens of sword marks. I nearly lost half of my blood and my stamina is also nearing its end. But, thanks to that, I was able to control my sword better."

"Now, I can be precise, fast, and release explosive strength. All that with my overall strength, I should be able to cross the fifth trial."

"Hooooo!" Tyler released a deep breath and gripped the sword hilt with his left hand. The next moment, lightning energy charged out of his body. His hair stood up as if he was electrocuted.

Whoosh!

The next moment, Tyler dashed forward with the intense speed of his lightning boots. His sword unsheathed and started vibrating at a rapid speed.

Crack! Bang!

Tyler reached behind the projection as his sword slashed the projection in half.

[Thunder Shadow Sword]

"Thank you for the training."
