"Hey, Higa! Could you go get us some snacks?" My best friend Liam asked while he was setting up the watch area for our movie night at school for the "Zombie Protection" club we joined. He picked up a few, reading them before finally choosing one and nodding.
"Yeah, we can't watch movies without snacks!" The club president, Angelica had waved her hand, using a manual pump to set up the screen. "I could go with y-you if you want to the pantry area is pretty far and it's dark b-but I know my way around" Carla offered, she was the vice president of this place and had been counting votes for the movie we're watching. "no thanks, I'll be fine," I said patting her head.
My name is Higa Yuichi, and I'm a member of the Zombie Protection Club. My best friend and I have been in this stupid club since our first year. Now it's our 3rd year and we're supposed to graduate next week so we decided to watch a movie before we all go our separate ways. Unfortunately, it's only us four in the club, no matter how much we promoted it nobody wanted to be around a bunch of nerds and a girl with a stuttering problem, so our budget wasn't so high. The kid setting up the movie area was Liam Williams. We've been the best of friends since elementary, we even moved from the U.S. (to Tokyo) together. I was always obsessed with weaponsmithing ever since my dad got a new job at a lab. He explained everything you can do with silver. He recently started experimenting with a strange crystal with his team and realized the crystal had a super negative reaction to silver.
I began to make weapons for me and my sister to use as self-defense though she didn't have a use for them now, when she grows up she would. Anyway, Liam stuck with me through all of the weirdness and even took an interest in it. Anyway, up next we have Angelica Evans, our president. She was the one who reached out to Liam who reached out to me about the club and he forced me to join, nonetheless, I enjoyed being there so it wasn't in vain was it? Angelica was very energetic and playful, but serious when needed. She found out about my weaponsmithing skills from Liam and forced both of us to join. Lastly, we have Carla Tsosie, the girl who looks upbeat and outgoing but who's a stuttering mess and surprisingly shy. She's one of the most well-mannered people here, very polite, sometimes a little too polite. Alas, I had to head out so I stretched a bit before leaving, flashing a smile at them before making my way out.
